No TNA can't promote their house shows. July 10th they where in Hamilton, I new about it cause I watch TNA every Thursday. I live about 25 minutes away. Not 1 ad on the local Hamilton TV station we get, not 1 ad in our newspaper, or on our local TV station. Bet it's the same for every show they do. I bet the only ads where on the video board outside of Copps that shows whats coming to the arena.

I've always said, TNA's house shows seem to be directly due to the fact they don't advertise well, and they are a bit over-priced. ROH, tickets are $15-30, with the highest being $50 I've seen.....TNA charges $25-$75. TNA will never sell large numbers, none the less sell out an arena at those prices. If they lowered there prices to $15-50, who knows...they could draw in at least a few hundred more.

no thats not true, cause i actually went to the tna impact live trying to see if they'll let people in. first, u don't have to pay entrance fee to see tna. all u pay for is parking. the rest is free. secondly, wen they turned us away, that was it. they didn't give us free tickets for shit. all they said was "sorry we have capacity. if u want to go to the tapings tuesday and wednesday u can try it,"

One thing Indy promotions overlook is the production value of their shows. The old ECW was able to capitalize on a grungy and minimal production feel, but that's because ECW had the entire embodiment of 'grungy' and it was accepted. Now-a-days it's extremely important. It's one reason I don't watch TNA. I don't watch WWE anymore because they've taken that cartoonish / carnival act and upped it up x1000. I hate their product right now (RAW). I don't consider myself a wrestling fan right now.

Lastly. That is kinda bogus that ROH and DGUSA running the same days. I always hated when ROH ran WM weekend, I mean the shows were always great. But it made the company look bush league, to me at least. It should be an entire weekend dedicated to WWE I think and I know ROH doesn't think it but I think it's kind of unclassy to run during the HOF ceremony. Maybe I'm just thinking too much into it but its my opinion. I thought Homicide asked for his release before Dixie's 50% real 50% fake shoot.

I've liked TNA since 2004. Hell I still think their PPV's from June-November last year were amazing PPV's. I haven't seen the PPV yet but I remember seeing it live and hating the Main Event. The first thing I think I hated about it was it was at least live the crowd seemed totally dead after Shingo/Richards and Dragon/Doi then the screwy finish didn't help things. Kendrick/CIMA was very underwhelming but I think was better than the Main Event. I can't believe they didn't show the Danielson/Richards confrontation. Did they show the Jimmy Jacobs/Prince Ali segment?

I don't think thats a smart idea. I mean I know indies want to show actual wrestling rather than promos. But what I liked about ROH PPVs was they had a good balance of matches and segments for feuds. And the Davey/Danielson confrontation I think put Davey over more with the crowd than the actual match with Shingo. If DGUSA is making Davey the #1 guy they should've put the confrontation on PPV. Even for a first time viewer I'm sure Davey would've gotten over with them.
