The pianist was just 17 when I hired him the first time to play upstate NY. Funny thing I had to get a state license for him to play the clubs because he was 17. That was back in the 90's. I'm so proud of you Teddy god bless you Bro'...

My husband and I just saw her closing night at the Metropolitan Room as well....What a performer! Advice from my grandfather Doc Severinsen: if you want to be a professional singer, you have to study Marilyn Maye! She's the greatest. Thanks for an amazing and memorable night of music, Marilyn!

I was at Marilyn's closing night show at the Metropolitan Room in New York City. She was absolutely luminous! And to top it off she taught a master class for singers this morning at 10 AM. She was bright and chipper, and such a wonderful teacher. She was very kind to all, and extremely interested in helping the singers improve their craft. I feel blessed to be there last night and today. They don't make them like this any more, and it is our loss that they don't. What a blessing she is!
