  • I bought this Car from the Aykroyd Family and resored it around 2005.The father said he was selling it for his Son. It was not till I was on my way home and talking to my buddy that we realized I had Bought Dans Car! I have a decal on the back with the Blues Brothers on Stage.

  • Does anyone remember the episode of candid camera where this woman pulls up by the river and ask where some city is? Others pointed across the river and said over there. Of course there was no bridge and she says thanks then puts the car in gear and drives into the water. Candid Camera was a great show in the 60's when I was a kid.

  • When yheir coming for you by the lake and you know you must somehow escape~~~WHO YOU GONNA CALL?~~~

  • damnit its no fair why are all car meets in ontario, why not west coast, get over here to bc

  • Thats a cool old car there...alot of history ...cool to see it still in action

  • Very cool.

  • Thanks for posting again, Brent!! I appreciate! :) Jack

  • cool

  • Hey, Brent! Thanks for posting as a response!

It was great to learn the history of the car, and see it in the water! That stream doesn't look too deep..but evidently it had enough depth for Amphicar! :D Jack

  • no problem! its fun being a car detective! i thought that Blues Brothers decal and the "The Aykroyd Car" saying had something to do with the car's history, and i guess it does! :) and i guess this car gets around not only in the real world, but on the internet as well, and thanks for the comment Jack

  • Yeah, I guess when you have an exceptional car, you want to show it off! :) Jack

  • Cool! I've seen a couple of those befor,

    At River Days, in Cincinnati.

    Just cruizen on the creek.

Thier not fast, But they are Cool!

  • Cool...probably the best car around to outrun the cops lol

  • lol lol that is true! also Castro is lucky these cars never took off in Cuba! lol lol the Cuban citizens trying to escape and seek refuge in the U.S. would not have to convert old cars to boats! lol if i could get one of these Amphicars i would try my best to improve performance, and then i would have my self a handy dandy fish boat! and i would never have to unload or load a boat on a dam trailer! lol lol just make sure no one opens a door! but there is two locks inside to stop that mistake

  • Too bad they don't make any amplicars anymore.

  • well they kinda do, if you go look up Amphibious cars, you will find a few modern examples, but nothing beats the classic look of these Amphicars! and thanks for the comment!

  • Awesome, wish my Grand Marquis could do that lol!

  • lol lol now that would be something! thanks for the comment Daniel
