  • Sorry to hear that it was used in the Che movie. I want this song unsullied by red politics.

  • DEus do ceú, como pude encontrar esta jóia! Meus tempos de garotão, mas já tinha bom gosto!!!!

  • Nr. 10 on the Hit Parade USA 1952... the year I was born ...nice to know!! :))

  • @akiljoe I read somewhere on the web that it went to #1 in 1952, my birth year also, I did this for a game on Facebook...so correct me if I'm wrong(which is unusual).

  • Love this song!

  • awesome!!! loved it as a little boy, yep, still love it. great song, great mind to create and arrange. thanks

  • My father loved this melody and me too

  • My dad had this record and I would ask him to play it over and over again...still love it!

  • This reminds me of the wonderful music the Addams Family's butler Lurch would play on his harpsichord (you wouldn't expect it) on mid-1960's episodes of "The Addams Family" TV sitcom. Of course, it was a background player, not Ted Cassidy, but he faked it well. The kind of beautiful music you wouldn't expect to hear on a parody of a horror show.

  • The absolute very best!!! Thanks for posting it. I love it!!!

  • THE ORIGINAL....LOVE IT !!!!!

  • @wpmw13 not really, the waldir azevedo version is the original. I actually never heard this version until I came to North America. It still seems odd because I relate this song to baiao, a kind of country bumpkin party, cowboy hats etc.
