The sax guy on this one is not Don Was, but still a great sax player. This song is so dear to my heart because it was my late sisters favorite Delbert song. It is my favorite too. The version he did live from Norway is by far, the best one to date. Delbert, you're my hero.
Is that the same sax man that plays this song on "The Best of Delbert McClinton" cd? That guy reaches right into my blue soul. He's almost as amazing as Delbert! I know Don Wise played a lot with him...is that the guy? Not on cd sleeve, darn it.
