Im tired of People criticizing DMC 2, A true DMC fan wouldn't call it a failure, it was quite enjoyable to play. Most people haven't even played DMC 1 or 2 and claimed DMC 2 is shit. All 3 games were awesome and DMC 2 deserves to be on the Trilogy.

@17jun1989 Amen to that, bro. I'm not gonna lie, DMC2 was my least favorite out of the original 3, but it was still a perfectly good game in it's own right, a lot better than most "action" games out there. Gameplay-wise it was almost as good as DMC1, though a bit too easy if you ask me.

@17jun1989 it was soo boring!!! everything was off! the stinger was odd, and it was too easy!! btw, there is speculation that the difficulty of the dmc games range from how mature dante is. i.e. dmc3= hardest game, when dante was the most inexperienced.

dmc1= a bit easier, but still a challenge

dmc4= pretty easy, with some challenges

dmc2= A JOKE! Dante was most mature here( strongest)

people say that the reason dante is so serious is because of some incident that happened between dmc4-dmc2.

@rickyjangatang1 Overspeculation on their part. They made 2 easier because some people in Japan had been bitching about the first being too hard, so they fucked it up. Then when people complained about how 2 was easy, they went overboard for the U.S. release and pissed people off again, for the opposite reasons. As for Dante being so emotionless, that's more a case of crap writing, as evident from the rest of the awful story.

@Alika1212 They are equal in martial ability, But, simply stated, I think the game wants us to believe Dante won because of his human side. (Emotions.) I don't necessarily agree with that in a real-life context, but in-game it makes sense. Dante was always stronger than Vergil because he went beyond protecting his own life and was committed to saving others.
