  • amazing.

  • I like this music, it's the same as the cheesecake episode :)

  • So that's where my dustpans went! 2:00

  • I am appalled by the number of silly squeamish comments. What in hell do these PC-babies eat? Do you know that these guys undergo examinations to guarantee they're healthy, while your sandwich-making, butt-scratching mommies usually don't? And I hope you've never eaten at a fast-food restaurant, where everything looks so perfectly made of plastic.

  • Apparently, some of the enzyme culture is found in the armpits. Besides renin which comes from the stomach.

  • 2:40 Then he gets his dirty ol' armpits in it? I'm done eating cheese, thanks for the exposé.

  • @Rudimentarypenis lol.. go watch food inc.

  • 1:25 Yeah get your dirty cow hands up in the cheese.

  • @HumaneAnon XD OMG! that's hysterical :D

  • @HumaneAnon That brings a new definition to having a stick up your ass

  • edible for 10 years....yeah but the cheese i buy at the store goes bad in like 2 weeks and has to stay in the fridge >_<;;

  • it's called cream, you idiot~ not fat

  • "It's all about tradition" Then they show the automated milkers.

  • 0:49 Butt-stool attached to the guys butt. Never seen that before.

  • edible for 10 years?.....WHAT THE HELL

  • from 88 gallons to 66 pounds... well I have no idea how much was lost anyway...

  • The first minute is telling you how to milk a cow, I'm from NZ its what we do every day!

  • Lol, the cows probably like what the heck is this machine doing stuck to my dangly things?

  • lol probably smells horribly in that shack

  • 1:25

  • '

yummy i love to eat swiss cheeeeesy

  • shit is delicious I tell ya, delicious ^_^

  • wtf weird sitting experience ...0:48...0:50

  • Cheese, more than anything else, always confused me regarding it's shelf-life, something that's aged, possibly for years, lasts about two days in the fridge at home? There are other 'aged' foods but cheese sticks out... why don't they do the same thing they're doing there in the supermarkets, increase shelf-life, keep things fresher?

  • @Academician100 if it is a solid chunk of cheese, and it gets a little green mold on it, all you have to do is cut the mold off and it is edible. even the mold is edible, but its nasty tasting.

  • :46 that chair is awesome

  • 4:42 is what my heaven will look like....

  • ANY cheese that has whole arms and hands working it HAS to be good! Wow. I'd like to work with these guys....

  • @56Nine YEP!!!!

  • i wish all cheese was made in a warm, happy, little shop like this.

  • I don't know why the whole world thinks there is anything called "swiss cheese"

    This documentary is a joke...

  • @preggy987 did you watched the beggining of the video or just read the video title? pay more attention and blame who deserves it

  • 6 months .......

  • OH man... he put his hole arm in it! ergh

  • Ahh yesss,,,give the cow a nice couple of pats,,for making this nice cheese.

  • 1:23. i hope he cleaned his hands

  • Thank you Cheesus.

  • @campbpar Cheesus Chrust.

  • lmao, he had a pretty epic chair haha

  • @kave213vids

lol yeah, wonder how many times he have falled over :P

  • 0:49 - 0:51 I should use one of them

  • Did anybody else notice that person wearing a strap-on @ 0:47 LOL

  • @Griffo515 yeah i did XD

  • behold the unknown liker! i will like every single vid find me out... if you can!

  • If "every step is hand made" then why use an electric mixer? Sometimes the announcer just discredits whatever he says previously. You'd think the writers would see that.

  • @candimisaxx If I use a cement mixer to mix my cement on my hand made wall, my wall is still considered hand made. Same with cheese.

  • "Swiss" cheese is such a generic name. There are several different types of cheeses from all over the country and most of them are now produced in a factory, not in some guy's copper cauldron. Same process, though.

  • @Mendokusai99 Forgot to add that the holes are caused by gas in the aging process.

  • Is putting a dustpan and your hand into the milk considered "sanitary"?

  • i love the chair attached to the milkers ass xD

  • 3 people spent 10 years trying to make the cheese and forgot to check on it

  • So why does Swiss cheese have holes in it?

  • @SPRoubi2020 Gasses that occur during the forming process create bubbles which in turn end up as holes when the cheese is sliced.

  • @1stRogInAz Thanks! The holes must be in low-quality stuff because that cheese doesn't seem to have any.

  • @SPRoubi2020 Right. I've noticed that most of the selections on "How It's Made " feature top-tier products.

  • @SPRoubi2020 It's not a sign of quality, it's just the type of cheese made.

  • @SPRoubi2020 Actually the holes are CO2 bubbles because of a bacteria that produces it.

  • ancoequipment com

  • Totally middle age methots xD

  • I wonder what happens to the "excess cheese" that is removed after the pressing...

  • where da holes? :(

  • @kikidolphin599 this cheese was made traditionally

  • 1. get cheese

    2. get a machine gun

    3.???

    4. profit!

  • @mcdudly00 Go outside kid...

  • @biggiedickson just kidding ..

  • @mcdudly00 That makes no sense

  • @Urgoth40 ofc it doesnt dont you have a sense of sarcasm?

  • @mcdudly00 It wasn't funny either

  • THATS THE WHEY TO DO IT

  • I'm allergic to dairy this is as close to porn on YouTube as it gets for me

  • 2:22 He washes his arms and hands thoroughly, *grimaces*......

  • those are really big cheeses

  • why doesnt it have holes doesnt swiss cheese aaaaaaallllllllwwwwwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyssssssss have holes

  • @kaitlynvargo I was wondering that myself. I was waiting for the video to explain how the holes are made but nothing.

  • all done by hand.

  • @dibison12 well apart from when he whipped out that big machine at the start to separate the whey :P

  • didnt see any holes

  • im watching this for no other reason other than the fact that im hungry.

  • @PR0bro Me too :l

  • @PR0bro omg i wanna eat cheese now

  • that stuff looks delicious...wonder how much it costs for a piece of it...

  • so this is why chesse is so expensive great to know that live in this country

  • YUMMM!

  • The holes are from gases from the bacteria.

  • blessed all the cheese makers

  • kool video dude, next time please put on some plastic suits or sumthing , not ur hand and shirt arms touching the damn thing >>><<<<

  • BUT WHY DOES IT HAVE HOLES?!?!

  • @dazzmin While getting ready, the bacteria in cheese produce carbon dioxide, which creates air pockets.

  • Okay, but the WTF makes the HOLES???

  • @tdnbunny EXACTLY my thoughts !

  • .. he then carefully dips his hairy hands up to his elbows into the milk to add flavour making sure not to sneeze while doing so...My cheese days are over!!

  • @wparo you probably dont drink wine either, being made with feet

  • 0:41 that looks like a sex toy

  • @Noemie2018 You're a idiot.

  • Enzyme called REDDIT!

  • Wait a minute, he washes his hand and arms AFTER he was mixing the cheese with his dirty hands and arms? :o

  • OMG, cheese from raw milk!!!! Lethal according to the FDA!

  • @therealgarygnu lolno. A lot of cheese is made from raw milk. Most of the reason cheese even exists was to make raw milk safer and more portable.

  • I was honestly expecting the video to be about how the holes are made...

  • He dips his hand in. That's how they get the smell.

  • @Viirray But Swiss cheese has no smell? :P

  • Curd= cottage cheese :D

  • Mmm yeah milk that cow you son of a bitch

  • why are they not wearing gloves eww..

  • @livetolovesome182 Studies have shown that wearing gloves actually makes you more likely to transfer pathogens to food products. This is because if gloves are not properly cared for or used improperly, things from your hands can get in the food.

It's a lot easier to just wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for 30 seconds.

My source here is Anthony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential" book, published in 2010. His source was some kind of study done at a cooking school.

  • @geandily thanks for useless info

  • This just may be the first episode that I have seen, that didn't have a weird pun in it...

  • wheres the holes?

  • 4:45 that'll give u major constipation haha

  • i could go a whole wheel of cheese right about now....

  • wonder how much it will cost to buy that whole block of cheese

  • @F22Raptorific it's about 22 pouds a cheese, so if a pound cost 5 euros it's about 130 euros a cheese!

  • all natural by hand in a mountain... with a modded power drill...

  • ...I think he said, "Blessed are the cheesemakers..."?

  • I guess there is really no such thing as a fresh cheese lol.

  • @pottermonster that's true.... i can make a fresh cheese on my own and done after 1 or 2 hours haha

  • Step 1: Buy cheese.

Step 2: Poke holes in it.

  • @TheAnimeblondie because of air bubbles

  • i put that on my burgaar 4:24

  • lol wtf did i understand this right? they need 6 months to make a cheese ?

  • @Georg5555 yeah! some cheeses age for many years! parmesan ages for about 2 years.

  • 4:17 its a cheesecake!

  • that's funny! they use cheesecloth to help make cheese!

  • you make this cheese today and you need to wait 10 years and 6 months to eat the cheese haha

  • @MissMaggieLicious Put a little more effort into what you're listening to especially if you plan to comment it!

He said you HAVE to wait at least 6 months to eat it but after that you CAN wait up to 10 years to do so.

  • @Duraltia Dude you NEED to chill out! It's a joke..LOL... Still suck anyways, i can make a cheese and eat it after 1 or 2 hour! taste awesome anyway =p

  • EH but it is not true that the most swiss chees is from alps. that was in earlyer centurys true but not in theese days. greetings from switzerland from a learnd cheesmaker

  • Made me hungry!!! I love Swiss cheese. What do they do with the whey, just dump it?

  • did that seat just stucked to hes ass

  • Who is worried of an arm, should be worried of chemical poisons they put in your "igenic industrial cheese", that btw it's not cheese.

True Cheese is made this way, there is not other way, like it or not.

For 1000 years things has been made with hands, damaging noone.

    And cancer didn't exists.

  • wow that looks good!

  • In some cheeses they even use worms and slimy slugs to make it. And some of you are, "Oh no, that guy touched my cheese with his *washed* hands! It's disgusting!"... The best cheese in the world is made really disgustingly :D The more slugs, mold, bacteria etc. the better the taste, like it or not.

  • 2:22 have u earn not that much profit.... to install a wash basan....
