@erniebtight thanks! I already picked FiOS and they have their issues as well, signal loss, audio outages, and it's now getting annoying to the point where I will need to call them again to complain.
i just switched from comcast to fios. fios is a lot faster, they give more channels for tv, and the phone is the same with comcast. also comcast has always been bumping up the bill in the past but with fios, it is the same price for awhile and you get a free mini notebook.
That really doesn't say much. Add what you were buying ie 10Mbps for both or what. Because there are more than one program for comcast and fios. It just might be that you were using comcast's 1.5 Mbps and fios 15 Mbps and thats why it is faster.
then i realized there was the cables around the corners of the guest room. o and unlike other companies like cox, the modem they give you is ALSO a strong wireless router. well ya, its my first day so.....
a piss, he saw the tv and said "do you me to setup that tv to?" and we were like " o ya ya, we forgot we had a tv there". and he then hooked up the box to the cable line that was on the OTHER side of the room, there was a doorway in the way along with a bed and 2 desks and the wires were literally SNEAKY, as i when i came back from the bathroom myself the guy was gone and i was like "WTF? how did he hook it up? is it wireless or something?"
sorry ran out of space, and the service was amazing, i just sat back drinking my soybean milk and watching set up my tv's, i have 1 52 inch HDTV downstairs and he did that, then we had another standard definition downstairs also and i had also 1 hdtv upstairs with a standard FAT tv and he did it all amazingly, but because my FAT standard tv was givin by my brother was never used for 2 years and therefor my parents and i even forgot we had a tv in that room, and when the verizon guy went to take
to tell yo the truth, i have a friend with comcast but he always fucking complains that he lags when we play games together. i just got fios today, but if you had a xbox 360 with a wireless adapter, you would know that it SUCKED COMPLETE ASS with my previous wireless router. but then with their NEW modem/router my wireless adapter for my xbox 360 finaly worked absolutely no lag.
whatever u do dont get centrylink worst isp BY FAR!! poor signal poor service poor everything

If you're looking to get better service then FIOS is for you, if you're looking to save money then Comcast is for you!

only bad thing is you might want to make sure the fiber is going towards YOUR direction and not the opposite
