I would agree to that if Lucic dished out a cheap shot on Komisarek, but it was a fair fight. He fought Komi, not Laraque. Sounds to me like sour grapes because Looch beat up a 6-4 240lb defenseman. "If you beat me up I'll get my big brother after you!" That kind of stuff was common in 5th grade. Laraque is the toughest fighter in the league, no question. Somehow I believe Lucic could hold his own though. They were just doing what their coaches told them to: Lucic had to decline.

Thornton has fought Laraque many times. The first game was a great fight(Thornton got the takedown, but I give Laraque the fight). This was not Thornton's fight. I am a B's fan, but have nothing but respect for the whole Montreal organization. Obviously, they now how to win, consistently. The time will come and Lucic and Laraque may go. (Laraque would probably win). Until then, I say we enjoy this rivalry for all it's worth. This is good for the sport. Cheers!!!!!
