The darkstar is a very rewarding synth to experiment with..... People forget that the modern modeling synths have all these cool effects built in and sound intantly good.... I have a darkstar hooked up to a cheap multi fx rack and some ancient guitar pedals and it sounds brilliant.
Wow, those lush royal pads are coming from the DarkStar? I am so glad I just bought one. An X2. That just little bit of a hiss of noise adds the right touch of character. Music should never be too clean. A subtle earthiness helps hold it in place. What a perfect box for making noise sound good.
Nice sounding, and love that you're using a Roland JX-3P as a controller. I love the color scheme of that thing.
