i absolutely hate jogging and going to the gym. hooping is a better alternative - and u get fast results!! i got bruises the first couple of days... but it was so worth it! i hooped for 20 min everyday during week 1 and increased my workout to 30-40 min until i got the results i wanted. my waist has never been smaller! now, i hoop every other day for 30 min to keep my waist tiny.
@laziiEy3 - Just so you know, my hoop has magnets on it, so it is painful for some people. But the pain goes away after a week or two. I kinda like the magnets- I feel like massages my waist. lol.
I haven't seen it at Target (AZ), I ordered a 4lb from Amazon yesterday before 12 noon and got it today!! I tried it as soon as I got it put together and felt it!! I was able to hoop for 2 minutes, minus the couple of times it fell LOL!! I got the smooth hoop and that was based on research that I've done. BTW the hoop I ordered was a Sports Hoop.
It worked for me - I got surprisingly fast results from 10 minutes per day. My waist size dropped 2 inches in the first month. Make sure you change directions midway through your workout.
can you do this with a normal hula hoop?

I want to tone up my stomach. So will ab exercises and hula hooping (since Im assuming this counts as cardio) help me achieve a flat stomach?
