"Respiratory Failure" seems too ambiguous... I'm getting the feeling that he had a serious disease or disorder that contributed to his death, but the reason why they only listed those two words was because the true cause was either a) unable to be identified and an extremely rare case that the doctors couldn't understand at the time or b) was something that was serious but hardly spoken about due to the shame in catching or having the disease/disorder.

I googled and apparently he died from respiratory failure--which seems odd, for a young person. That had to be a complication of something, but I don't find that info anywhere. Could have been pneumonia or something, but I am guessing suicide or drug overdose and family wanted to keep that quiet or something. I mean, if he was sick and then died from respiratory failure that probably would've been known to the media.

@MsLittle1105 sometimes from OD's they'll have a frothy looking substance coming from their mouth, but that is from an acute overdose. I've didn't happen immediately then it wasn't any kind of OD just pneumonia or something. OD's also just drop dead and everyone hears about them. It's a shocker

Wade was a very good friend of mine in Jr High & High School (Martin Murphy JHS & Live Oak HS). He also starred in another movie called "City of Industry", with Harvey Keitel (he dies in that one as well). He was half-Mexican. He was NOT a Norteno or gang member... he was loved by everybody! We had a lot of FUN: basic high school partying, ski trips, keggers, windsurfing, etc. Helluva guy & greatly missed.

Everyone that knew him loved him because he was so ... nice, I can't think of another word. He was nice to everyone. He was also so much fun and so full of life. He was born and raised in the SF Bay Area and that's how I knew him.
