Couldn't they already make an Evil Study Group in the "canon" universe?
Rich = Jeff
Starburns or White Abed = Abed
Magnitude = Troy
Leonard = Pierce
Annie Kim = Annie Edison
Vicki = Shirley
Quendra or Meghan = Britta
Prof. Duncan = Ben Chang
The end credits can then say it was all part of a plan that Evil Abed and Troy hatched and sent to our universe in order to try to destroy the Study Group.
Someone on the net suggested that Troy's absence was symbolic of what would happen if he ever left the study group and I thought it was a neat assumption. A group without Troy is a group gone to hell. LOL
@vertibelle one was just uploaded on the Milady Milord livejournal, it will most likely have a jeff/annie spin but include the rest of the study group carrying out abed's plan
