@akimes02 People never listen I swear You need a Compatible Wireless card not just any card will work. If your wireless card don't work then its not supported for linux thats why its not showing up. Nothing you can do but buy a card that works with linux and i've said many times in my videos what card to use.
@akimes02 All i can tell you is look around for one you like that has a RTL8187L Chipset Highly recommend that chipset. The Problem with little USB pendrives is they normally don't have a long antenna on them which means your not going to pick up alot of networks with a 5-9dbi+ antenna you can pick up networks from as far as 1-2 blocks depending on how much stuff is in the way. Better to use it on a tell building with a clear view.
whats up bro, I have another question for you. Is it possible to set up Backtrack 5 in Vmware Player, without having to burn Backtrack on to a Cd??? If so, How do I do this??
@Jace919NC Locate the ISO on your computer and when you go to Create a New Virtual Machine pick Installer disc image file (iso) and browse to locate the ISO of Backtrack
Hey whats up bro, I have a question for you... how do you set up the back track 5 and the Fern Wifi Cracker 1.2 together??? I have no clue at the moment on how to Set them up could you do a video tutorial on how to Set the two programs up together??? I would really appreciate the Help thanks

@Jace919NC 404 error means that the file or url might not be working.
Backtrack 5 has Gerix Wifi cracker on it make sure you have a compatible Wifi card for Linux as I have said many times.....
There is nothing that i know of that works for Windows anymore for cracking wireless networks.

@akimes02 Yes the alfa awus036h is one of the best to use.
1. They have a Long Antenna for picking up networks from up to 1 block or 2 blocks if your in a high building with a clear view
2. They work with linux out of the box plug it in and it should detect.
3. There around $30 on ebay. Maybe you can find them on Amazon.
