Well, I extracted all the files where they need to go, but it still won't work. I can see the HUD Icons, but the model doesn't work! any help for me?

Excuse me, I play in DX9 and these weird black squares show up on the textures on the pyro's head and the bottom of the zipper. It also shows up on medpacks, ammo boxes, and some weapons. Can anyone help me? (P.S. It is not my graphics card. I am relatively sure of it)

You can! In console, type use_hwm_models 1

It will instantly switch to the high-detailed "meet the team" versions of the models, the performance hit is small and lets you turn off custom player models at will. Set it to 0 to get the customs back instantly.
