RIM knew how to make a good cell phone. But only Apple knows how to make a SmartPhone. What is a SmartPhone? It is a computer that happens to make telephone calls. That is why RIM is failing. Not only in the GUI, but in the know how of how an OS works.
i'm kinda surprised that you can compare these two companies. one sells consumer oriented laptops, computers, mp3 players and the iphone. one sells business phones. they're not completely chalk and cheese, but theyre pointing their guns at different targets.
i dont know what people see in the iphone. this guy is stupid. please point out 2 good features that the iphone has over any blackberry? the one thing that i would give it is the web browser, and the con to that is that its too damn slow. other then that i hate the iphone
I find it hard to believe that any blackberry can top the iPhone. I mean Apple offers free apps for download such as social networking and also games. If the iPhone came out on the Verizon network, I'd probably get it. Though a great phone on a poor network doesn't interest me. I'm waiting for Verizon's storm :)
