  • Oh, Rapunzel. I love Enchant. I can't listen to any of her newer stuff really (not that it's bad necessarily, I just find it way too triggering, especially right now), which is a shame because I think she's a very talented violinist.

  • Call me fanatic or something else but I got the greatest idea and created an outfit at the school with that shirt text :'D Oh well, at least I'm creative :D

  • @boredomskingdom I spent ten hours in ceramics making a jewelry box with all of the lyrics... oh well, time well spent hopefully. XD

  • @hiddenshadow0723 xDD That must've been pain in the ass :'D Let's hope I can make that outfit fast enough (which is possible) to get a foto on my Facebook profile :)

  • Could someone please tell me what her shirt says? I believe I can make all but one word out, "I"m ____ was I thinking again?" I've seen this video several times, yet I still can't quite make it all out.

  • @crazyaboutsquirrels I'm sorry, was I thinking again? It's a snarky shirt, I believe. :)

  • @sapphiresnowdrop Thanks a bunch! Yes, I figured it would be snarky. :)

  • @crazyaboutsquirrels her shirt says "I'm sorry was I thinking again?"

  • Tore the curtain....!!!!

  • I think Enchant is my favorite, but the others are great too.

  • I just LOVE this song, whenever I'm at my students job, I sing this out loud :) But only when cleaning the tables, our customers don't like it otherwise XD

@solypookybear I can relate to that :) for me it's the same :)

  • @Angelke01 I've been singing this song for the past few weeks now and my classmates fell in love with the lyrics. It's a good thing I remember the whole song :D

  • I listened to her song for a few years because my best friend gave her songs to me and I LOVE her songs so much!! I never watched how her looks like but I saw her pictures before and thought "wow...I would like to know wich kind of songs she sings..." And now, I dont know why it tooks me so long, but I finally searched my favorite song of Emilie on Youtube...and was surprised that its actually that girl I was wondering about before xD Thats fate! XD LOVE HER! Emilie, you got a new fan :D

  • looooooooove it!!!!! <3

  • 38 people aren't singing loud enough. +

@ UltimateEnd662: Emilie sings differently in every album. Their not garbage, their masterpieces, so go troll on somewhere else. Its good you like Enchant, but tbh your overruling that by calling her music garbage.

  • I love Enchant so much but I can't stand that Opheliac garbage.

  • @UltimateEnd622 she just didnt changed her style for no reason.she have been locked up in mental instittuition trated like ''the bad dog'' for commiting suicide and being critisized for her abortion she realize that she is not a fearie neither ''a fucking unicorn'' but a human like everyone else.I also like the enchant era but every of her era's is conected to her real expiriences.

  • I think these beautiful songs are not so well known 'cause they are not mentioning how fucking drunk I can get, or the party from last night... or the 16 boy that doesn't talk to me... EA is not A artist... she is THE artist!!

  • Sing as loud as you can Emilie, your saving lives here.

  • this song made me braver :) <3

  • I'm sorry, was I thinking again?

  • I like this song. I love fairytales and it is only now I have noticed that Rapunzel is rarely taken back to its more adult roots.

  • It's cleer, the line between Enchant and Opheliac. You can sens the change in her life, kinda.

  • By the few songs I listened, this one is my fav.

  • Whats this Enchant puzzle all about? Apparently it only available from the original label & not the new one.

  • @Z4phir3 sowwy

  • I'm soooo in love with her music!

    Such beautiful raw talent!

    LOVE to EA!

    <3

  • she has such a beautiful voice

  • I pulled my headphones out a little bit from my ipod and I could hear all of the backing vocals for the songs, and in this song when it goes 'If you sing loud and clear' you can hear her sing 'If you smile' o.O

  • this song has captured the mystical elegance of the victorian era in a most exuberant way. May emilie live long with a perfect chance to keep her recording for all her days!

  • 37 people didn't hear the stars shout...

  • Remind me why I listen to other artists again?

  • @thePANDASgirl13 I've been only listening to EA for the past year now :]

  • I don't understand! Her songs are fucking good! But only gets less than 600,000 views?!?

  • if you sing loud and clear

someone passing by will surely hear you

    no you can't be afraid

if you ever want somebody near you

  • @desirousofinspiratio We all know the lyrics, thanks. WingedZephyr has very clearly shown them in the video itself.

  • I love the beauty and simple elegance of this song, I also love that her style changes so much.

That so much of her music is about the heart, mythology, fairytales, and history!

  • "I'm sorry, was I thinking again?" XD She always has the best phases on her tang tops!

  • @RobinTeenTitansGO1 I was planning to make that text on one of my tank tops :D One of my favorite phrases what I've heard or read :D

  • @boredomskingdom Likewise! If I could have one of her shirts, it would be that one. ^^

  • @boredomskingdom

I want the one that says Cockey Von Murdertits, though... that was the best XD

  • @PurpleRaveGirl LOL xDD She definetly has one of the BEST sense of humor :'D

  • The Lady Of Shallot, Rapunzel, I love how like her songs are about cool things XD

  • This song should be in Tangled. XD

  • Lovely.

  • This is one of "our" songs

  • @left4deadlover123 ZOMFG!!!! I love your user name :D

  • @TheSapphire2010 Why thankyou ♥

  • @left4deadlover123 Ha ha thanks :D Obviosly you play ^^ Ever played the 2nd one?

  • @TheSapphire2010 Yes, it's freaking beast :')

  • @left4deadlover123 GAH!!!! I love Ellis :D I'm like in love with the whole game....except Rocelle.........

  • @TheSapphire2010 Yeah she's an annoying bitch -_-

  • @left4deadlover123 GAH!!!! Got that right. And then thiers Coach..............who startles the witch EVERY single time. Now I can't get that achevment......

  • @TheSapphire2010 Shoot him down Lul xD

  • @left4deadlover123 I tried...it didn't work XD

  • @TheSapphire2010 Damn that slut -.-

  • @left4deadlover123 Ikr? >:D~

  • @TheSapphire2010 Yesh ^_^

  • All of her songs are somewhat similar, but they're all awesome. Awesome enough to give emilie Autumn her own genre of music! :D

  • I love her shirt.

  • I'm constantly singing so that I can attract attention. This is completely my theme song.

  • Emilie Autumn is so inspiring.

  • :D LOVE!

  • Theres just something about this song that makes it perfect in the morning while ur still sleepy ^^

  • I play this song on a continuous loop.

    This is.....

    ....my theme song.

  • @rsgirl10 f**ck..i wanna do thousand and thousand thumbs up...-but i can only do one..>.<

  • maybe Emilie was more positive in the beginning........because I don't think her later songs are like this....and from experience, mostly no one hears you :P

  • This song speaks to me. It tells me not to be afraid of what other people say or do.

  • I love this song this relates to me because I feel no one understands me because I'm diffrerent than to most girls at my school and I got bullied fairly bad in primary school and some of high school for having a learning disability . I felt trapped in a tower like rapunzel . Its like she saying to me there are people out there who will understand you . Thats why i love this song.

  • @QueenWaterLily

I think it's terrible that people are making fun of you because you have a learning disability.

  • @QueenWaterLily you shouldnt pay those people any mind whatsoever im sure your a very bright and nice person with a great future ahead of you.

  • @dalaris1213

    Thank you :)

  • This is the most beautiful song i ever heard from dear Emilie Autumn, i hope she can do this type of music again.

  • One of the greatest things about EA is that almost all of her songs have neat stories to them. Like this, everytime the chorus is high, it seems like the stars are convincing her to sing and when it goes lower towards the end its like she actually does it, the violin closes it with that 'dancing with the person who heard you' type a thing. XD or thats just what I see it as.

  • This song is extremely beautiful, I can't stop listening to it.

  • @shanimal1000 This song has been playing in my head for 2 weeks and I haven't listened to this song in such a loooooooooong time xD Oh well, it's my favorite :)

  • gave muziek xDDD

  • Gorgeous arrangement ~ dear Em

  • Do you edit the photos yourself? If so, what do you use?

  • @xViolinxManiacx78x I'm not sure what she uses, but you can do this in Adobe Photoshop, or if you're cheap and don't want to spend a load of money, use Gimp. It's an open-source, photo manipulation program.

  • @KingBenEntertainment thanks ^_^

  • I love this song <3

The chorus kinda feels like my life story :P

Also, kinda random, but it also reminds me of this line in the song Rebel Yell by Assorted Jelly Beans: "So sing a song, sing it loud, maybe someone in the crowd will understand"

  • This is the song I play for people on their birthdays, or post on their facebook walls.

  • This reminds me of my life. I've had so many opportunities from solos in chorus to people telling me to get out there, but I've declined. I feel like this is telling me, "If you want to achieve your goal, you have to accept and it will happen."

  • Pretty song!

My 20 year old daughter introduced me to Emilie Autumn's music.

    I am enjoying it!!!

  • @OzzInter That's cool that you two are able to share music tastes. I bet she appreciates that.

  • I just love this song. This has such a special meaning if you read between the lines :) EA can put her thoughts into a song wonderfully <3

  • This song... so amazing. It makes the hairs on my arms stand up. Look **waves arm** Incredible!

  • the whole first verse discribes my life perfectly. especialy "but no one listens now she's lost her voice she had no choice"

  • I love this song. What a great message. When life has you down, do what makes you happy, and you will doubtless be rewarded. Really gets me, since I sing all the time :)

  • 36 people have no life. :)

  • i can sing this song almost like her my mom say and my sister she is 19 :D

  • @ana6740ify around this song she was about 21, i belive shes now 32 or 31 :)

  • i like this style of hers better :P

  • one of her best songs *-* simply amazing

  • When I first heard this (and after having heard that bit of Greensleeves in Juliet) I thought she might throw in some Pachelbel's Canon into this. Apparently, though, she saved that for Save you

  • @blacksnowhitequeen

I recognized Canon in D, and I've heard a lot about Greensleeves in Juliet... does she play any other songs in her songs? That sounds funny >.< but I think you know what I mean ^.^

  • @rsgirl10 Yeah I get it lol, but not that I know of...

  • what this song said to me was that you cant be afraid of who you are. if you want people to love you and be near you cant sit in the dark and watch them pass by. this song spoke to me personally on many levels, im very greateful she wrote it <3333

  • Ahh...loves this song...but tho is really does remind me of Tangled, which reminds me i love Mandy Moore, lol win-win

  • me & all the voices in my head all unanimously agree, Emilie Autumn rocks, and we are much loving wingedzephyr for putting up on Youtube our daily doses of Emilie, when we cant figure out how to get the MP3 player working because we forgot to charge it whilst we slept last night.....TY!~

  • haha, last night we went out to go see "tangled" for my sister's birthday, I thought of this song and I kept thinking of emilie autumn. xD

  • Does she play the regular violin or the electric violin?

  • @RedxBlackxEmo both, but mostly electric

  • @RedxBlackxEmo If you can play one, you can play the other. So probably both.

  • Comment removed

  • The way this song is arranged reminds me of Loreena McKennitt

  • I want to play the violin that well some day

  • I love this song! ^^

  • @KrynnEnchant Amazing.

  • i cant even think how to dislike this...

  • Great song! ♥

  • her cello player is frigging amazing as well as her ^~^ true talent

  • Has gotten the sudden urge to go watch Tangled

  • @PezTheElf I went and saw it the other day(: I didn't turn my phone off and my dad rang me.

Guess what my ringtone was? ;)

  • @PezTheElf has realized this is not facebook and dont need to use the facebook statement........one of my fav songs by EA XD

  • @PezTheElf me too lol

  • This is why I love Emilie Autumn. Her music ranges from soft and melodic in songs like this to harsh and creepy in songs like "Liar." Either her music is amazing.

  • @stiffkittens101 btw the soft and melodic songs are mostly on the 'enchant' disc whereas the creepier ones are on 'Opheliac'

  • @potentialpenguin Oh, I realize that. I'm just expressing my newfound love for her music since I just recently discovered it. :)

  • oh so there is a song by her about rapunzel. she must like that story/idea.

even if she hadn't had a dark life, you don't have to have one to see that the world is a dark place.

  • @KiwiDynasty yes, i understand, i mean, her songs are so dark, what could make her write these?

And listen to the violin melody in Rapunzel and compare it with Opheliac!

They're not the same at all! :P

  • It's obvious he's flaming us Plague Rats, there is absolutely no point to talking to JBsGreekShawty so everybody stop, he's probably working off to all these replies he's getting.

  • @laughingatarmageddon Very true, Although I do think it's really sad how many people think Gothic, dark, or mythology based is satanic. I pity people with closed minds but I also wish they would close their mouth and silence their fingers. Ignorance does not need to be spread that is the real plaque~

  • @KiwiDynasty your actually the kindest person talking to me here! :)

  • @JBsGreekShawty Evidently you've never heard "Juliet", "By the Sword" or "Chambermaid". Go and look them up. Go!

  • @ColdestBeauty I've heard Juliet and Chambermaid already! :)

  • OMG its just got a good message ^.^ Rock on Emilie from one of your Plague Rats

  • @zanewoody when did she come out with this cd. .

  • This is just sheer beauty

  • i love this song Marian

Closer every day in the dark and in the light.

That´t the kind how a great love works. Two heavens

  • I love Emilie Autumn, and I'm so happy my friends forced me too listen to her a couple years ago c:

  • So I'm surprised that a company made a record deal with her :S

  • @JBsGreekShawty somebody needs to listen to more "Enchant" and less "Opheliac"

  • @laughingatarmageddon I dont listen to Opheliac AT ALL!

  • @JBsGreekShawty Keep your bad opinions to yourself. If you have nothing good to say keep your mouth shut!

  • @Inuyasha12625 it's not bad!

  • This is the only song I like by Emily Autumn. All the others are pure satanistic songs.

I don't know and I can't understand why some of you sit on your pc listening to songs like "I know where you sleep" and stuff.

This girl has been through a lot and she's totally crazy now. How would you be if you went to the Asylum, where you have leeches sucking blood and rats accompany you? That's right. You'd be driven crazy.

  • @JBsGreekShawty That doesn't mean her music is satanistic. Have you heard Marry Me? Or Juliet? Seriously? Even Gentleman Aren't Nice is an awesome song and it isn't bad. You obviously haven't listened to her very much. You need to be more open to music before you judge it.

  • @Missbipolar94 i am open to everyone

  • @JBsGreekShawty Obviously you're not, if you think all her shit is satanic. Seriously.

  • @JBsGreekShawty Yes, but all the best people are crazy, even if only a little bit. Listen to more of her songs before you judge her. She has been through a lot, but you don't know her. Listen to more of her music, especially the stuff from Enchant, and read The Asylum For Wayward Victorian girls before you comment on anymore of her stuff saying she or her music is Satanic.

  • @JBsGreekShawty ummm alot of her songs are complete sarcasm too like the art of suicide and gentlemen aren't niceand marry me. others like what if swallow and mad girl and how strange aren't either you need to learn your stuff first you actually have to listen to her songs because they all have a deeper meaning than just the lyrics....like i know where you sleep and gothic lolita and let the record show. she has been through alot and she's able to tell about those experiences

  • @JBsGreekShawty grow up, she isn't satanic at all and the fact you put that tired old stereotype of outsiders on her proves oyu know NOTHING of cultures.

  • @TearisShatteredMoon what culture? Talking about her new songs, i think she doesn't believe what she sings!

  • There's pop... rock... hip hop... RnB, then there's Emilie Autumn

  • H-hmm... this is the first song i heard from EA year ago :) I got hooked. First: "weird sound" next "well... lets listen it again" and then "not here. Singing along while 10 other her songs open in other pages"

  • Comment removed

  • Let me be the first to say this, but her songs scream for some great great great trance remixes that could expose her more to a European club and North-Asian synth-lover or DDR fanbase.

  • @ThyChrysanthemum

Oh God. Stop it with the TRANCE, please! You guys keep destroying perfectly good songs with your "remixes".

  • @CaramidaCaramizie Why? Embrace music as a whole, don't just discount one genre since it's an avenue to invite others to hear what other genres of music; if a small percentage of trance-fans that enjoyed her remixes enough to get out there and learn about her then more power to them and Emilie herself, in gaining more fans.

Share music, don't be so inclusive.

  • Oh Emilie, sometimes I feel like you're the only one that truly knows what we're going through. Glad someone understands.

  • I love what her shirt says =D

  • I think what makes Ms. Autumn's music stand out for me is the fact that she uses a lot of "real" instruments, like violins and such. Not to mention the fact that the Victorian theme in most of her songs just whisks me away to some fantasy world. :D

  • @ranafatim She is a fantastical creature, that's for sure. I love her cover of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun...with harpsichords. It's so crazy you have to smile :)
