My reason for posting was not to exalt myself in any way, but, to clear up this little controversy. The Sam on the tape is Sam Daniels from Miami, Fla. singing with Dave Prater. Dave is from Ocela, Ga. That is where he was headed, to visit his mother, when he had the unfortunate accident which took his life. If you have any way to contact Dave's wife, Rosemary, she can fill in the gaps. She can tell you about Sam Daniels, as well, as about me.

This is definitely NOT James Brown, but, it is the Sam & Dave review starring Dave Prater. This show was recorded shortly before Dave's death in 1985. The Sam here was not the original Sammy Moore. it is Sam Daniels. I introduced Dave to this Sam when he was putting this new act together. The two Sams sounded so much alike til when some of the original band members were arriving for rehearsal, before they came in, they thought that Dave and Sam were back together. I was the bass player.
