  • A lot of it's going to organizing events, getting media attention, keeping the media going, bailing people out of jail ect.

Kokesh is a shill for RT who's job is to infiltrate and malign the movement while pretending to support it.

  • Same in Vancouver, a push on taxes and climate change plus thousands held while people occupying in rain froze and got wet. Theatre using public frustration, LOL! out of work corporate ra ra motavational speakers and actors at core of Occupy?

  • BULLSHIT!

  • @captcrais101

    Hee hee, yer gettin exposed.

  • This is James Lee Land from the Video - I want to say thanks to all who get what we are doing down at Occupy DC. Telling War Stories has been fun but it's time to switch the focus back where it belongs (Politics). If you support opening minds on the left and working on our next Art Project Action please write me at jamesleeland@gmail.com or James Lee Land at Facebook. Any support you can send to jamesleeland@paypal for Our next Art Project which will be unprecedented. Email me for details.

  • @jamesleeland1 Teh Faux the ART project?

  • I think the whole Occupy movement is so funny. To have it end would be like pulling John Stewart off TV.

  • I am the 0.00000003 percent! (And I have 0.00000003 percent of the wealth)

  • @scottbieser You have more than me. I want .000000016 percent of your wealth

  • it's a natural law that Anarchy, or whatever you wanna call Occupy DC, is never a stable structure and will always be replaced by something else. In the case of the occupy movement you obviously already have a new ruling class emerging within.

    kinda funny.

  • @TheHorsenation You are absolutely right... and this is a great example of why anarcho-capitalism will never work -the rich will simply continue to be in power, or the new rich will form a new power elite!!!

Changing the economic system is as important as changing the social system...

  • @flyermay And how do you suppose the PE would exercise this power in a free society?

When you refer to "capitalism" - are you refering to the true free market or our current system of corporations and government interference? What is your alternative?

  • @LibertyPanacea They will exercise it in the same way they do now... buying it, and the rest no choice but to accept their deals while making them believe they had a choice.

When I say capitalism I'm referring to all forms of capitalism (including 'free market capitalism'); which is: the rich elite owning and controlling our natural resources and means of production for their own selfish benefit. This is what defines capitalism -what's common to all forms-, not a free market.

  • -.-

  • The 1% have us by the ballz, we are all so divided and will continue to be...

  • Follow the Money.

  • hahahaha, freaking stupid

  • These people are mentally ill.

  • Funny how an anarchist society (which is what OWS technically is, since no one's really governs it) always natually drifts toward Capitalism. LOL.

  • @Shonenut213 Anarchy is capitalism.

  • @Shonenut213 I would rather interpret it as capitalism corrupting everything... it always did, it always will. That's what happened with America, and every other country adopting or influenced by capitalism... praising selfishness and greed can have no other possible result.

  • @flyermay So you would rather have government force be used to take away people's money instead?

  • @Shonenut213 In capitalism... yes.

If someone is going to own OUR natural resources, OUR means of production, and every other of OUR basic needs for his own selfish benefit, I would not only have him pay taxes, but pay so much in taxes that those who don't get to benefit from the riches of his own land would pay none and have every basic need for free.

  • @flyermay your a socialist and should leave my country you cry about the big banks and dont mind if the goverment takes it by force that is pccupie and the reason why no one cares about the commie, socialist, welfare state losers

  • @ugotcatfish Your country??? lol

You work your ass off every day for those who really own America (and I'm not talking about the government, the commies, or shape-shifting lizards from the 5th dimension)... what makes you think any of it is yours? :D

  • @flyermay oh no you and your socialist friends have found out that rich people will do anything to get rich yet you have a moment of slince for steve jobs he was the so called 1% and russel simmions and all the other rich people that get cheers from you and your kind you dont know how the system work you want to cry about it but think shitting and pissing all over the place not to mention the rape free zones you have to set up to protect women your a joke like occupie losers

  • @ugotcatfish You claim it's YOUR country, and now I'm the one who doesn't know how the system works... lol... Ok kiddo, careful with those commies pissing everywhere... :D

  • @flyermay thats right you said people should get the basics for free no that not a right you dont have the right for free health care a free job free collage if you dont call that commie, socialist bullshit then your a part of people that think we need welfare state and thats all you hear from occupie as for me being a kiddo at our tea party protest and we had way more people and no need for rape free zones no stealing from eachother no setting fires thats your loved occupie losers

  • @flyermay POWER corrupts everything, NOT capitalism. Dig? Was there NO corruption in the USSR? Is there NO corruption in China, Cuba, the Britain of old, or any other country not following a capitalist model? Power=FORCE. Force=State. More 'State', more 'force', more 'power' in the hands of the few, hence MORE corruption. The current era is CORPORATISM in U.S. not capitalism. The citizens are at fault for electing politicians that seek more Gov't(power through force) for corrupt ends,

  • @adampeart1 Yes, you are absolutely right: power corrupts, and corruption also exists outside of capitalism. But wouldn't you agree that wealth is the main and only source of power in capitalism? Then, why just attack the middle man (the government), instead of tackling the real source of power, and the system that foments this type of unelected and uncontrolled power?

  • @flyermay Capitalism without a doubt, in it's purest sense, the most equitable and humanitarian system every employed by man. The power derived from wealth is only applicable when 'bribes' are accepted by politicians with no character, whom we the people elect. A corporation cannot FORCE the public to buy it's product or service unless it is mandated by the gov't we elect. I will not contend that some have become wealthy through fraudulent activity. What I want is JUSTICE.

  • @adampeart1 I have to disagree there... with all those statements.

First, capitalism is without a doubt an inequitable system (not the most, but inequitable enough), and not at all humanitarian. Capitalism is not concern either with equality nor with being humanitarian. Capitalism foments all sorts of differences (social, economical, political, etc), and there's nothing humanitarian about allowing your fellow human beings to rot just because they can't be as productive/lucky as you.

  • @adampeart1 Second, you don't need a government to exert economic power; you can do it with anyone at any level... that's the real power of wealth in capitalism; why the 'haves' will always rule and control over the 'have-not' -especially without a government; and whether or not the rest or the majority like it.

There are many ways of forcing people: exploiting their needs is one of most effective, since you make them believe they have a choice.

  • @flyermay Justice to me is not being just an opportunist that wants something for nothing. I want to succeed on my own merit. However, I want Wall St. gamblers to go bankrupt, and the crooks to go to JAIL. Where is our dear leader Obama's justice dept?(too busy shipping guns to Mexican drug cartels no doubt.) Why are heads not rolling? Why aren't crooks left penniless? Why aren't oligarchs thrown in prison for the rest of their lives? From the FTC to the White House they're on the take

  • @adampeart1 But I do agree with this second comment... just that I think all these bankers and elites are pursuing the goals of capitalism: getting richer at whatever costs with a complete disregard for everything and everyone else... that's success in capitalism.

  • @flyermay Whose responsibility is it to hold our 'elected' officials accountable, and the scope of their size and power in check? That's right feller. You and I and every other citizen. Sad truth is, most are more concerned with having 'Rock Star' or 'swingin-dick cowboy' presidents; more concerned with a D or R than the actual character of their representatives; more concerned with their fucking fantasy football. Is this mess 'capitalism's' fault? No, it's OURS- for being derelict.

  • @flyermay Derelict in our duty and responsibilities as citizens AND as consumers. CHANGE starts with US, not smooth talkers that promise a world of illogical freebies that they can't fulfill. Until we accept that, there's no hope for sure.Wealth in and of itself is not bad. Steve Jobs bettered the life of thousands, nay MILLIONS of people by providing great jobs and products and technological advancements to the world. No capitalism isn't the problem, our society's apathy is.

  • Don't try so hard Adam, your rich friends will continue to be in power for a long time... Luckily for you, America will continue to be an oligarchy.

By the way, ain't that the "far right wing libertarian" from a previous video that's now speculating about missing and misappropriated funds.

  • @flyermay Damn I wish I had rich friends. No brother, you and I are against the same oligarchs (or kleptocrats if you will) and you don't even know it. However, you fail to realize that they only have the power over us that we give them.

  • @adampeart1 Yes, I do know we are against the same things... but I'm not only against government, I'm also against the rich elite over them... and there is no way of getting rid of them with capitalism left in place, since all their power comes from it.

  • @flyermay Name an alternative political structure that is LESS FLAWED(since capitalism is flawed) than capitalism?

  • Comment removed

  • @flyermay Power Corrupts. True. And ABSOLUTE power corrupts ABSOLUTELY. The capitalism model, true capitalism- not crony capitalism, has historically given the individual the most power which has the potential to corrupt the individual. HOWEVER, a social / communistic model where the government has ABSOLUTE power over the people AKA Mod Rule AKA Tyranny of the majority (Or even purported yet false majority see Bolsheviks). Therefore a true free market corrupts the least.

  • @ChadSolbergAK Well, I don´t really think capitalism corrupts the individual; it corrupts those who have power in capitalism (all forms of capitalism): the capitalists (the ones that live off their capital, not their work).

The we need to be careful when we talk about socialism and communism. Socialism is totally controlled by the state, and also open to corruption. But in communism there is not state, no economic power elite, and therefore no corruption.

  • @flyermay Have you ever known anyone who lived in Communist Russia, Communist Vietnam? At my last job ALL of my co-workers are people who quote in THEIR WORDS "Escaped the corruption and absolute controlling power" of their government. The theory of communism is great. In practice it is flawed. People who want power tend to get it. In a communist government, the one who has power has ABSOLUTE power. In a free market, a true capitalist market, no one group has absolute power.

  • @ChadSolbergAK The point I was trying to make is that Russia, China, Cuba, Vietnam, etc... where never communist, they got stock in socialism (the intermediate state between capitalism and communism); actually, in the most tyrannical form of socialism: stalinism / neo-stalinism. Futhermore, those countries should had never been through a communist revolution, because none of them passed through a fundamental stage of development: capitalism... They were doomed to fail from the beginning.

  • @ChadSolbergAK lolignorance....

  • HAHAHAHA!

  • The guy he interviews at first looks like that guy from "Bugs"...

  • I was actually wondering about who runs the OWS "treasury" and if they plan on equitably re/distributing the money they have been given.

    Anyone?

  • @CRAPCANNONS according to the rules at occupywallstreet org site, you'll get a global network ban for asking that question. They're very anti-transparency, anti-freedom-of-information, anti-free-speech over there.

I'm guessing the money is being used by adbusters to design their new overpriced shoe.

  • Adam, why don't you grill this guy? Suddenly the critical, intrepid interviewer has gone into Fox-style fluffer mode. This interviewee's throwing around accusations, but nobody gets to rebut? I understand when you interview somebody who's making a fool of themselves individually, but this is hardly objective.

  • oh, this is priceless.

  • 4 legs good, 2 legs bad. What will the rules be tomorrow?

  • Nice shirt Adam-- We will not be silent = لن نصمت :)

  • Some occupiers are more equal than others.

  • @PGudmunson You, sir, get a thumbs up for the obscure Eric Blair reference.

  • @PGudmunson Welcome to the real world...now get out of the public park and give it back to the public!

  • I missed you Adam, I guess I wasn't looking hard enough!

  • Lol these folks are so dumb that they didn't even have to be taken to a fema camp they just built their own.

  • @talonvi LOL at what you said!

  • they should not take cash donations only food and clothes and generators and stuff like that, camping survival stuff to be more precise.

  • Set-Up, Both the protests, and this video, LIES LIES LIES!!!!!!!

  • This is my favorite guy that you interview. He's very down to earth and strangely funny in his own way. Props to him.

  • @ 0:10 / watch?v=jLakgUosAsM&feature=related

  • It looks like they're turning into the very thing they hate. Surprised? Not really.

  • Don't lose sight of your absolute goal. My people you have already begun to see the small arrows they will kill you with. Do not let them destroy your alliance. You are fighting a very well put together system of oppression and control. That very system works because the leaders lead and the followers follow. Choose a sound minded leader (Ron Paul) and hold the line for the cause. This is bigger than you and me. This is the fate of our children's children and beyond. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP !!

  • What are these people receiving money for?

  • @TheWoWGrind kickbacks in exchange for not talking about their monetary contributions.

  • Hilarious, the 1% has formed their own government.

  • We are the 98.01%

  • I think our current situation has a lot further to deteriorate before there will be enough collective anger to make any changes...people don't get angry until their back is against the wall (founding fathers) and we are nowhere near that point yet...so until then..prepare and stop wasting your time camping in public squares. my 2 cents.

  • adam kokesh the occupy troll...

you have proved nothing. if that guy wants to find out what happened to the meetings tell him to go to the general assemblies... idiots.

  • @alwayzAngry So are you saying that the $50,000 was spread around in a fair manner? Are you also saying that there is no problem with the tent numbering and other nonsense?

  • @alwayzAngry your name says it all... lol

  • @alwayzAngry

I already said this once, nothing was even said at the general assembly about the $50,000, even when it was asked about. The general assembly I attended was a joke, not at all surprised he did not attend. Maybe 12-15 people attended the GA on the day the money was given out. The people who received the money had better stuff to worry about, like how they would use their newfound monetary power to do what they wanted. Gee isn't democracy swell?

  • LOL Epic

  • Registration? You can't keep a good statist down.

  • And yet people still ask for hierarchical/coercive solutions to our problems....idiots.

  • Pretty much baked in the cake

  • good journalism adam. one percent hell, human nature has merely prevailed as always. give some people the power to lord over others and they will do so every time

  • What a surprise, money corrupts, but of course, this wouldnt happen in a 'free' market capitalist society.....

  • Comment removed

  • @jwhitenstall People aren't ready for freedom just yet, but that doesn't give anyone an excuse to support a government.

  • Does he mean the "unions" who are "anonymously" propping this "movement" up with membership dues?

    Good Stuff!

  • All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

  • WE ARE HOPING FOR ANOTHER GOOD YEAR OF LARGE COMPANY CEO BONUSES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON STOCKS HAVE JUMPED QUITE A MARGIN DUE TO LOW INTERST RATES AND CHEAP MONEY. HOPEFULLY WE WILL REACH AN ALL TIME HIGH IN 2011 FROM THIS EFFORT. FROM THE NATIONS CEOs WE

GLADLY THANK THE PEOPLE GLOBALLY. TO CONGRESS THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT ENJOY THE ENTITLEMENT CONTRIBUTIONS.

  • "That's one way of putting it"?! Implementing the same system you're fighting against...

  • Of course it has a 1%. It's called the "Inner Party" - the self proclaimed ideological leaders who preach austerity for majority of party members, while they themselves live a life of relative decadence.

  • Can't believe this vid! Thanks Adam...just shows how you can be so concerned but "It has nothing to do with me". We are all. fu.....ed!

  • See how easy it is for the govt to take money from the people is! The Govt = AG the people = the person in this vid! WAKE UP ALLL!!!!!!

  • It's amazing what people will do for a proportionately small amount of cash. Sell out their whole "Belief"

  • There are some good COMRADES in the OCCUPY leadership.

  • I like this "revolution".

    "Animal Farm" style.

  • @OsamaPP Took the words right out of my mouth. It seems that all occupiers are equal, but some are more equal than others.

  • what the hell is the $50 gift certificate for? amazon? wal-mart?

    "rent"?

  • Occupy is a participatory democracy. This guy admits he doesn't participate. We have to participate to make this work.

  • @MDub1977

He doesn't participate because it's a joke. I spent last Saturday down there and we had already heard about the $50,000 donation. When they had their joke of a general assembly the question was asked "Where was this money? What was it going to be used for?" The person leading the GA shuffled his feet and said "Yeah, I've heard some scuttlebutt about that. Is anyone from the finance committee here? No, well we'll figure it out later." Crazy useless loiterers at this point.

  • OWS are Statists. Numbering human beings and their property is what Statists do. Next they will be taxing everyone who sits at 'their' protest. File under 'Fail on Steroids'.

  • You would be surprised how little money it takes to turn a person living in a tent in a park to the dark side. I'd burn that little number and refuse the bribe, cheers Adam.

  • lol I like the guy falling on the tent in the end.

  • @crazypants88 I hadn't even noticed that! THX!

  • @crazypants88 rofl that's great... good eye man.

  • @crazypants88 He just looted this guy's tent and stole his Ron Paul Sign and wallet

  • @crazypants88 It's obvious where he spent his $50; the liquor store.

  • And the result will be: misstrust and dividings. The NWO wins again. Good Job Adams! hmm good job adams? hmm...

  • good reporting adam

  • Pay attention to the fist.. its been everywhere a revolution is.. (just about)

  • Mo Money Mo Problems...

  • hahaha WOW
