@nintendojesse To Packers fans, he's great. Most people around the league just focus on Jennings and Finley though and they get most of the publicity. Even Nelson is getting more than Driver now.
Lesson of the day: we NEED to upgrade that secondary. And yet the completely inept front office is going completely soft and not getting it done. This can be one of the problems with hiring a pure college coach like Harbaugh. I'm a Cal Bears fan, so I've always had Harbaugh on a short leash. Now it's quickly turning into a noose before any football has been played. He better win. I'm tired of this shit. Oh, and Alex Smith needs to get the hell outta town. Should NOT have re-signed him.
@dex1lsp ur a Cal fan so stfu. lol at you thinking anyone will take ur Hardballz flaming seriously when you just sad you don't like him cus ur a cal fan.
@SmileyJetson You're right that he has to prove himself to me if I'm gonna like him. That does have something to do with being a Cal fan, but it has every bit as much to do with the fact that I'm just tired of this shit as a Niner fan. See what happens today . . .
Packer fan to the end! through all the craziness about bf, he could pick apart the defense and sling the ball. I dont like his politics, and where he goes, but he was a packer at some point. its all about the pigskin for me. on another tangent, michael vick, whatever you do, you suck! poor dogs!
bet he is so glad he stuck around and didn't retire after that blown championship by favre. andrew quarless is a great teammate with alot of character
this is what i saw hey donald heres the ball. can i have a hug donald sure but thats it. what about me donald only if you barely hug my back. what about me donald? no (pnuches in the head). Look the endzone group hug for everyone!
Stuff like this still p.o.'s me. We owed Brett more than this. How I wish we still had Favre and Sherman and Rivera's beat up shell of a body. We owed it to Brett to do it his way. All this fancy "winning Super Bowls" stuff doesn't hold a candle to properly honoring a legend. Guys all flashy making determined 60 yd + catches instead of openly weeping for Brett being treated so poorly. How those guys could go out and play all these years instead of forfeiting every game in protest I'll never know
@toolkien dude that is the dumbest rant i've ever heard. we just won a Super Bowl which we would have never done with Favre taking the snaps. Knowing Favre and his track record, he would have took us to the playoffs and thrown 3 or 4 INTs and lost us the game. As for Sherman, he just plain sucked as a coach and was not missed when he was fired. Be thankful that we won a Super Bowl and get used to the fact that Favre and Sherman were both replaced by better successors.
@toolkien - brett treated poorly? you are obviously a BrettFavre fan much much more than you are a packer fan. i hope your loyalties followed him to NY and Minn, cuz the packers don't need fans like you!
Donald Driver is the epitome of greatness. No matter what, he will give every last ounce of fight he has left in him every single time he gets the ball. He will always be my favorite player of all time.
How much you want to bet that if it was Brett Favre throwing that ball the announcers would have been all like "Wow! an AMAZING play by Brett Favre! Did you see how he threw to a wide open Donald Driver, nobody else could have done that! He did all by himself! Now let's show his wife in the skybox for no apparent reason!"
Packers have a great offense we have jennings and grant and lee but when we need him driver is always there we can always depend on that man to drive it into the endzone he fought four defensive players at the 3 yard line just so he could taste the sweet taste of a touchdown. He proved something that will put him in the hall of fame no matter how old how young how big how small if your heart is with the game you always got something to prove and he shows us that week in and week out
and this is why donald driver is one of my favorite players...he hasn't had that great of a season...but when he gets the ball in his hand you can count on him to put every ounce of effort into his run...he'll never just walk out of bounds if theres time on that clock...he plays with a lot of heart
