  • Do you have other vids of the rebuild?

  • @dynastyofnext - There's like 57? Videos.. So far! -Rob

  • lucky basterd, i got a free bike but there was water in the cyls :(

  • ooooh yeah.. so cool.. as they say.. best things in life are free.. right on dude.. plus we'd just seen billy at volt festival in sopron , hungary.. july 2 nd 2010.. he and steve and the band rocked the fuck out of us...

  • So where could I find a junker like that? I've been looking for a project for forever.

  • cool

  • Cool video. I've got two '74 Honda 360's that I'm restoring and an '82 KZ 550 that I got just this past weekend for free. The KZ is in bad shape chrome/paint wise...sounds like a perfect candidate for a bobber! Keep up your work, I'll need inspiration.

  • Thanks!.. Were back on it SOON.. It's spring 2010 and as you can see I'm into the Hotrod at the moment.. So don't miss that one.. -Rob

  • Quick question is that a 5th wheel/dolly from Consolidated Frieghtways??? If so I worked for them for 17 years before they went under.

  • just do alota measuring and eyeballing, i dint use a jig to chop my kz650, just measure eyball and levels, should be fine

  • i just got a free bike.. my first bike an old honda silverwing.. i plan on making a bobber/chopper/lowrider with it.. with the forks at about the same angle.. i was told that its gunna be alot of work with jigs and what not to cut the frame and keep it true.. i was thinking of a pie-cut at the bottom of the neck. any input as to how to go about? by anybody?

  • Jig!.. Build what you want off a 2x3 bar of rectangular steel bolting the rims down at the shrader holes with the tires off.. but remember that things will change as the engine wont be on the ground and each tire has its own height to consider..

  • I signed up. Keep them coming.

I always enjoy seeing what you are up to.

There is a small bobber up the street that I need a closer look at.

  • Jim B?

  • I like the gun barrell exhaust idea. I've got a twice barrell, sawed off, 12 guage, sawed on both ends. Illegal as all get out, and not really functional. More of a wall hanger. Want to make it a shifter for the roadster, but kind of afraid the first cop that pulls me over for the illegal pipes will plug my old butt when he sees the weapon.... Got to think on that..

  • Oh I bet they wouldn't like it ! - Mine might just be the screen over the barrel. I have it all planned out in CAD down to 1/4 scale so just imagine how BIG the original gun was... -Chopper Rob

  • I wanted to thank two people for helping me with this project. one's my Dad who helps me clean up the small stuff on the weekends (carbs etc.) and the other ones my best friend Hank who helps me with the frame and idea's no matter what the bike. - "It's about getting your knees in the wind"

  • Honda reincarnation!!!

Good show! Can't wait to see the process!!

    Hondas never die!

  • lookin forward to seeing it finished man. good luck!

  • Thanks! - This literally started on 12-15 when I found the bike in the back of a pickup at a friends junkyard.. making it FREE! - Dont miss the other one I just posted on a Yamaha frame we made and sold..
