in patch 3.0.9 locks were considered below par in pvp by most people.. yes there were some who got high but not nearly as many as there were in previous patches.. almost as bad as the druid drop.. druids almost didn't exsist in the arena when this was shot.. and locks were hard to find as well.. things have changed in the past year tho.. thx god holy/unholy is not nearly as op as it used to be

Locks are actually extremely overpowered. But a lot of people wouldnt know that because they cant play them. Most of them are used to their old warlocks in burning crusade with SL/SL spec, where you could face-roll to 2k rating.

the trick is to be the first to "open", send wolfs after mage, and comsume shadows with void (making stealth visible)´, then shock/curse rogue in stealth. Then its easy pew pew ;)
