  • hi sir

Mr. Sought84 has advised you not to talk about the strumming and the chords in the songs you teach us & to play the song longer. But Plz dont' do like that person is saying. Because the technic of yours teaching us is the best way. you start from the basic to the Advanced. Mr Sought84 may be an advanced guitarist but We spcly I am not. So plz keep teaching us in your fntstic way. And plz keep me rqst in ur mind. plzzzzzz.

    Love u sir & God bless u!

  • Hi Pawan, I just came across your videos today. I have never seriously thought of taking up guitar, it was always "Wouldn't it be great if i could play." But today for the first time ever I am actually serious and very eager to buy a guitar of my own and its all thanks to you! Knowing that I can learn from you has given me confidence. If you could just lead me in the right direction and tell me which guitar to get for a beginner, I don't even know where to begin. Thank you Bhai, and God Bless

  • it all depends on what u want to play, whet is available in your location, and of course ur budget - for instance, if u want to play rhythm the way i plan, a standard 6-string metal string acoustic will do. there of course, there are different qualities available ..... u cud also visit web sites like justinguitar . com and torrins . com to get a better understanding of what u shud look for ...

  • Well dear sir pawan always marvolous!!!!!!!!love you

  • thanks, fahim... love u 2 :)

  • These chords are a great help.. Thanx a lot!!

Wat chords on the verse just write it for me plz

    thanx again!!

  • send me the lyrics, will try to respond asap :)

  • sorry for my ignorance. can u plz direct me to the song u mentioned?

  • u can find it in youtube, search for hansta hua noorani chehra - u have to listen every carefully with headphones, as they did not strong bass patterns those days - on the line "kaali zulfen rang", the progression moves from F#m to (F# A C#) to FAug (F A C#) to A (A C# E) as the harmony line (strings) moves from F# to F to E

  • thanks buddy

    i was missing augmented one.

  • aug and dim chords are typically used as passing chords only in desi music - u can manage withouth them, unless u want the original effect :)

  • yes dear u r rite.

majority of Indian songs r played on a simple combo of 4 chords as u have noticed. Am, GM, FM, and EM or any other similar combination. and thats the beauty. but sometimes there r complicated one like Kishor Kumar's oldies. hey u can manage some literary junk chords too anyways :) !

thanks for correction, thanks for reply.

    peace from Pakistan.

  • u will be surprised, aug chords were used in very old numbers like hansta hua from parasmani ...

  • hi parvesh

  • thanks, parvesh :)

will check out the song ....

  • ... hi pawan ! this is a "crossover request " - i heard a background song in a hollywood movie with mary kate and ashley olsen - the group is named "flight of mavis" - the song is titled : "it comes in time" - the album is titled : "spools" - what are the guitar chords ? the song is on e-music - many thanks ...
