@supercheertay of course they can do it without the spring mats, but with springs its easier.. My team tumbles at a gymnastics gym, and its 10x easier than our mats back at the school.. You need more power without the springs.

And what is the other one called they do right after? It's the the one where the girls do the splits and the base tumbles over the flyer
