@victoriaphibes Thanks for the comment. I believe this was not long ago fully restored, so I shouldn't think it is due for any work just yet, but I know they do look after the instruments quite well at St Albans.
very interesting 12th Street arrangement - it follows the Pee Wee Hunt comedy million-seller version of the 1940s including all the Pee Wee Hunt band solos!
@pianolaunderground Interesting comment. Marcel Bartier originally arranged this piece around 1949 so it would definitely tie in with the era of the Pee Wee Hunt version! The book on England's Pride was supplied about ten years ago by Gebroeders Decap who have many patterns available for their organs.
@StuartMulcrow Absolutely agree - Bartier and his ilk were at the very top of the arranging game, a pity so little is known about most of these talented individuals.
@nickn5nl Thanks! I'm not particularly sure about this, but would it be 'The Charleston Dancer?' I'm trying to think of books on this organ that finish the title with 'dancer' and this is the one that's standing out for me.....
Lovely video..thanks for posting. Does St. Alban's Museum ever intend to touch up the paint on the case of this lovely organ?

'This large 121 Key Decap, built by Gebroeders Decap of Antwerp in 1939, was one of only about 20 built in that period'
The 121 key Decap 'Marcel' at Thursford was built the year before

8:35 Tom Pillibi (1960 Eurovision Song Contest Winner, France)
I think the last three arrangements are by Albert Decap. Hope this helps!

@perleeman That helps a lot, many thanks! Just the second title to get now... annoying as I saw the book on the day but can't remember.

What camera did you employ? The detail is very good (and the music!!!)

@balmesh Thanks - just my little Sony Cybershot T100 in video mode - it gives surprisingly good results (records in just 640 x 480).
