Thanks for this wonderful piece of art. I've commented before, but I just wanted to reiterate what an amazing job you did on this. I LOVE it. It's perfect. So when the movie comes out and is ruined because that's what usually happens... I'll re-watch this video again and wish that you had been the casting director... They should totally pick fans to be involved with turning books into movies - then they would come out so much better. I wish this was the real preview for the movie.

it's crazy, because even before everybody was putting up videos with Jensen as Jared, that's EXACTLY how I saw Jared while reading the book for the first time. I didn't even know who Jensen Ackles was at that time. bizarre... :) anyways, awesome book, probably my favourite. Hope they don't mess up the movie. Saoirse Ronan is a great actress, so I haven't lost hope :)

Sophia's great but soaire is a great actress and thats the most important thing. Her appearance can b changed 2 suit Mel's. I mean, she's basically gonna be playing 2 different ppl at once. And i think they chose younger actors because when SM writes the other 2 books, they're gonna make those into movies too. Those actors arent immortal,they're going to age. Not like the twilight cast, where everyone looks too old for they're character now. 5 years 4m now, the host cast will still look good

At first, I was totally agaisnt Saoirse Ronan playing Melanie, she's a great actress but she doesn't look like Melanie. But, finally I think she could do a great job, she has done many mature films and deep characters, and yes, she's young but Melanie is supposed to be 17 at the beggining of the book. And the film will be out in 2013, she will be nearly 20, just like Melanie.

I only hope Saoirse gets tanner and dye her hair to brunette for this.

Try to think about it, Saoirse will be brilliant.

The Host is my favorite book since two years back and it was thanks to it that I watched this video and heard this song and found The Fray. It was in this video I heard a The Fray song for the first time, and I fell in love instantly. Now, years later, they are still my favorite band. :)

I saw this about a year ago, and i wasn't that far into the book, I just couldn't get into it...then from watching this made me want to go finish the book. I'm so glad I did!
