@YunhoxLoverx Fuck this program, use greenp0isn, the only thing you have to do with greenp0isn is 1. download 2. install 2.plug your ipod/iphone in your comuter 3.open up greenp0isn and select ''start''...you're welcome ;)

The reason it may not be working is because Blackra1n doesnt work for certain firmwares for the ipod/iphone

i downloaded a shitty package from cydia and it shut my ipod touch off, now when i re-do the jailbreak it stays on the geohot screen for a couple of mins, then it just shuts off and goes back to the connect to itunes screen! can someone please help?????

The easiest way to fix blackra1n is to move the blackra1n.exe to this folder:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

Just make a shortcut to it on your Desktop or wherever you want and it's done...

Run blackra1n agian, its tethered which means it cant be restarted without it, so your problem is normal. Hopefully they'll come up with an untethered version soon, also for myself, can I back up all my apps and videos that I got from power downloader (extremly helpful little app, doesnt require jailbraking, it is in the apple app store for free :D can also download youtube videos on there as well. Will this also fix it being stuck on the rebooting part as mine is for the umpteenth time?

its becuz of the new software in your ipod 3.1.2..... that firmwire in it is teathered so you have to keep running the program that u jail broke your ipod with

Hey Guys, Don't let the battery die after jailbrake!!! Keep it full... Otherwise; youtube, wireless etc... doesn't work! If you already got problem, try restoring from itunes with fresh firmware and then jailbrake again with blackra1n. After all of this you have to use push fix & youtube in Cydia.(it fixex youtube issiues) If you allready installed Cydia go to Manage >> Sources
