Whats bad is where i live they are a few of these cars sitting around, and the owners want sell them for shit they just let them rot to the ground. Thats the worst part. Still trying to get my 75 TA back because its doing the same thing as these cars are doing, rotting to the ground. i do like your video shows that some great cars are still around.

i do like the first trans am, looks cool jacked up but i wouldnt want to see everyone do that to them. that one is just enough for the world, every other needs to be low and fast like they were build from the start. and i hate not having the kinda cash to fix every nice classic muscle car up in the world cause they are so bad ass.

I restored a 1979 Esprit, we cloned it into a Formula, put an early 350 Pontiac Motor in it, runs great, looks great, my son drives it everyday. Pontiac always was and always will be King of the Muscle Cars... ; )

Yeah, helped to the compactor. You want a hot car, get a Challenger or a GTO. The Trans Am was about as big of a boat as a Fury.

I would much rather people patch rust then crush. every car crushed makes it that much harder to find parts cheap too. it suck when you get one as your first car that needs to be restored and your 15 with no job. pontiac lives on with me and it would crush a chevy any day. even if it is a 301 turbo...

@5gen67to10camaro Same here bro. I own 2 trans ams that are both Y88s. People just dont care what kind of shate they are in and decide to crush it or sell it for parts. It makes me sick to my stomach. Its unbelievable what people will do to these cars.

@tommycobra33 i need some advice... i absolutely love the black and gold y84 color combo and i want to paint my turbo trans am that color but, the original color was ontario gray with the red bird and black interior and the turbo engine is still in the car just rebuilt and i am not sure how i want to go about this because that color combo in 81 was the rarest one some im puzzled

That was the 1976 Model, My Brother had the Formula. The best year ever made, in my opinion.. of course, It was the only year that was that had that exact front end style...

Even though the Trans Am Package was the worst thing to happen to the Firebird, it still breaks my heart to see so many in such disastrous condition.

One my street like half a block down, one sits, park. She looks so sad. It needed HELP! It had rust holes in the fenders, paint bubbles, but inside... SEXY! The man who owned it parked it for the night and BANG! Late in the night someone hit her, bent the back up a bit. The guy who hit it sped off. The guy who owns the car, dident fix it but he does drive her. Sound great too.
