OK I got an cellphone that is unlocked doe's that means that my cellphone works with a SIM card of a Japanese carrier ? After all international phone calls well their is this device called the magicjack that is sold in the US to that you hook up to a computer on a USB port to make calls in the US and Canada like their where local phone calls maybe when I plan to go to Japan I will like to buy laptop and hook my magicjack to make phone calls to my family and freinds in the US.

It sounds like it's possible, that would be sooo good for me. My boyfriend and I both have iPhones so if we both went with Softbank we'd get free calls!

@yumyumsesame @tokiobunniprodigy Sorry, guys. Softbank doesn't sell SIM cards only. It's not SIM free in Japan. It means you cannot buy only an unit either.

Something to add if a girl asks your phone number in Japan dont take it as shes intrested in you as a relationship. A lot of Japanese people just love to hang arround with foreigners to train their English.
