is that any treatmtnt in case of M.D.R. positive pationt. without 27 month long treatment. how is the use of kanamycin. can dots are fully effective ? what do u say ?
Im a medic. I work with patients with tb. Its kind of tragic watch little children with tb. I also have patients with droug resistance. Its hard to treat resistance tb patients. Some of they has miliar o extralung tb.
@ershad85 You're asking me for a sputum negative lab test... to diagnosis tb you can use a Chest X ray, CLINIC, use a PPD test or even you can use PCR for tuberculosis, lung biopsy, Batec 460 tb... If all result negative, MAYBE ITS NOT A TB... it can be a fungus like Coccidioidomycosis, you know, the endemic spore at the south of US and north of Mexico, and some places of south america, hystoplasmosis, lung cancer, linfoma, pneumonia, etc... also you can practice an ELISA blood test for HIV...
@dgldrhyde Indeed, many human pathogens can make lessions or symptoms mimicking those or tuberculosis like Hystoplasma, Coccidioides or Pneumocystis, & although Mycobacterium tuberculosis is very a common infectous agent involved in pulmonary tuberculosis is not the only mycobacteria involved in this disease
I had TB when I was 19, and it is a most brutal, isolating and stigmatising disease. I couldn't walk, couldn't eat, and was down to 6.5 stones. I was lucky that my life was saved by prompt anti-tb treatment. I am appalled that this very treatable disease is needlessly killing millions every year. I was lucky that the TB I had wasn't the XDR type, so I survived. The treatment is VERY effective so why are so many people being allowed to die?
After trying several sites myself, I just wanted to say that anything is possible, like finding the love of your life on Hsoulmate.c o m even you have herpes,HPVor HIV.
These cases must be extremely severe! It's terrible that so many people die of this. My favorite actress of all time, a very kind and dedicated woman, died of this disease at only 53 in 1967. Her name was Vivien Leigh and she was popular in the 1930's and 1940's mainly. She is best known for playing Scarlett O'Hara in "Gone With the Wind". However, she never looked like the people in these photos. You would never guess. This video was shocking. And so many people are unaware of this disease.
OMG... :(
