Hi, I bought an E90 for my BMW and have two problems. 1) The buttons on the steering wheel are not working. 2) The park distance control is very noisey when I am driving backwards. Can someone help me? Thanks.
I have just insalled a dynavin e90 and have some queries. One, which navigation software is compatabile with dynavin navigation? as I tried igo8 and it did not work. How can I know that it is a software problem or the navigation system that is not working? Second, since I installed it on my bmw 3 series E90, the alarm bleep of the car went off, I mean the car does not make any sound when door is open or you r driving without seatbelt. anyone can help me...much appreciated.
@Matri30 The navigation software on the dynavin cannot be upgraded. It comes with Windows on it and that cannot be changed. As for the alarm beeping I'm not sure you may have unhooked something while installing.
Hi, I have a 3 series 2007 model E90. I would like to buy one like this, the problem is that I have a button under the climate control (it is the auto start button), and I dont know whether it fits. Any help?
@Matri30 Auto start? You mean the heated seats and stuff? Those buttons are relocated with an included trim piece. You can email us a photo and we'll confirm.
Any Updates on what is the deal with the systems resetting? I understand the unit has an internal battery, much like a cmos battery on a PC board. But is looses the charge within 30 mins or so in my case. Very frustrating as when it starts is blasting noise at high volume bcus the stations presets are gone. So is the last volume level etc.

In order Illumination of buttons works, please unplug the orange cable (illumination) from the harness headunit part and plug it into the next empty pin (the right one, see from the cable side)
Dynavin made a mistake in the harness producing, puting the illumination cable into the wrong position.
Right now we still need to find the right fuse place, or run directly to the battery, because the system resets after an hour or 2 of parking :( Any tips?
@benzo56 The install wasn't too difficult. We're still working on figuring out which wire to tap the main power to so the system doesn't reset, but aside from that, everything is plug and play for the most part.

How long does it take from the time you put the key in until the time the radio starts playing? Is there a delay while the system boots?
Can you post a video showing u putting the key in and seeing how long it takes before the audio starts playing? Can you also show iPod functionality?
