Take two ropes (1 left 1 right) and hold them both in 1 hand while pulling the box

Hint 2:

Glue 2 straight sticks bamboo "garden plant sticks" under the box, (like a pair of rockers) they'll straighten the direction of the box.

Then Your 0$ slide will work much better!

If you were to use a box as a slider, just make a hole close to the bottom and put a string or yarn through it, make a mean ol' knot, and pull it by wrapping the string/yarn in your fingers like a fishing line. This rocked! :) I've just lifted a couple of 1 meter long curtain rods and some of those padded furniture sliders from work ;) ...this of course coming from watching a vid for a motorized track dolly costing over $1000 ! ! !! -EEK! -Of course, the other alternative is to make a snuff-film with a cameraman owning all this stuff and ... well... you know. ;) -But WAY more fun to build all your equipment. -Gets out of the way of telling your Story instead of bragging about gear :)
