RIP-Phil Lynott...I heard that when he was dying from pneumonia, he got his thing in order and gave the rights to the over 700 tunes they wrote and played to one of his friends and now is going be released (uni_ver_sal records.??) and that the entire collection will be available to all fans soon, including songs never before heard by the public...can't wait, this is the first band I've seen in concert back in 1976---lat'r Buzz

I agree this is the best Irish band.I am a fan of U@ however and one cannot disregard all of their tremendous success, but Had Phil Lynot not died one will never know how far Thin Lizzy might have gone and even without that their style of dual guitar attacck and heavy rhythm section with killer riffs and images of cowboys and jailbreaks ect. make them truly one of the top rock bands of all time.

I own the Regal Theatre Hitchin '83 concert on dvd, and I've to say that the quality is quite bad, but they played really well. Sykes is an unquestionable guitar virtuoso, the best Irish guitarist after Rory Gallagher
