  • astaghfeer Allah this is Haram! This is surely shirk, what can the grave do? nothing can't do anything it can't harm or help. stop this evil practicing of worshiping the graves for the prophet Muhammad said "may Allah cursed the Jews and the christian for they have taken their graves of their prophets as a place of worship'.

  • good video and also good sugestion by br. safdr ,

may be on a second video.

. which could have the voice of qalader baba ji lecture.

  • In addition to the clear Islaamic prohibition (haram) of worshipping others besides Allaah and building shrines above graves, just think about this issue:

    - People who pray to / dua to the dead are asking those who died centuries ago!

    - How can dead people respond to your calls?! - THEY CANNOT RESPOND TO PRAYER / INVOKING / DUA - Only Allaah can.

As Muslims - We call upon / invoke / dua to Allaah, alone - Allaah lives forever and He alone hears all the supplications/ duas and He alone answers

  • Shirk (associating partners with Allaah / polytheism) is the worst sin in Islaam. If a person dies upon Shirk then he is NOT forgiven. But Allaah may forgive the sins lesser than Shirk.

QUR'AAN - Verily, Allâh forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allâh in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin. (An-Nisa 4:48)

  • In Islaam, we can only pray to / invoke / dua to Allaah, alone.

For example: "O Allaah help me" - THIS IS A DUA OF TAWHEED (monotheism).

BUT - People who visit these shrines actually supplicate / invoke / dua to the dead and therefore they worship the dead. Worshipping other than Allaah is an act of Shirk, which expels from Islaam. Shirk is the worst sin in Islaam.

For example, shrine visitors pray / dua as follows "O Chisti help me" or "O Abdul Qadir cure me" - THESE ARE DUAS OF SHIRK.

  • HADITH - The Prophet Muhammad said: "If you ask, ask of Allaah, and if you seek help, then seek the help of Allaah." [Tirmidthee, good and authentic]

HADITH - The Prophet said: "Dua is worship". [SAHEEH (authentic) - Reported by Ahmad and the compilers of the Sunans).

HADITH -The Prophet said: "Whosoever dies whilst making du’aa (invocation, supplication) to others besides Allaah, will enter the HellFire." [Related by al-Bukhaaree (no. 4297), from Ibn Mas’ood]

  • At shrines like this one in Karachi, Pakistan, people go there and worship the dead

In Islaam - Worship is to Allaah ONLY - That is Tawheed (monotheism) - Allaah is The Lord of all that exists.

If a person worships other than Allaah, then that is Shirk (polytheism). Shirk expels a person from Islaam. If a person commits Shirk, then it nullifies his good deeds

Tawheed is the foundation of Islaam. Without Tawheed there is no Islaam. Therefore, if a person commits Shirk, he leaves Islaam.

  • HADITH - The Prophet Muhammad said: "Allaah cursed the Jews and the Christians for taking the graves of their prophets as Masjids." -- Refer to the English Translation of Saheeh Bukhari, Book of Prayer, volume 1, Book 8, Hadeeth no: 427 & 428.

  • HADITH - The Prophet said: "Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their Prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as Masjids; I forbid you to do that." Refer to the English Translation of Saheeh Muslim for the complete Hadeeth, Chapter 47: Forbiddance to build Masjids on the Graves & decorating them with pictures and forbiddance to use graves as Masjids: Book 4: Hadeeth no: 1083.

  • HADITH - From Jaabir bin Abdullaah who said that the Messenger of Allaah prohibited plastering of the graves and sitting upon it and building upon it. This hadeeth is in Kitaab ul-Janaaiz 2/667 in Muslim.

My brothers & sisters - Shrines or mosques above graves is FORBIDDEN (haram) in Islaam.

  • HADITH - From Abu Al-Hayaaj Al-Asadiy who said Ali ibn Abi Taalib said to me "I am dispatching you upon what the Messenger dispatched me upon, that, "you do not leave statues except you deface it nor a grave raised except you level it" This hadeeth is in Kitaab ul-Janaaiz 2/666 in Muslim.

My brothers & sisters - raised graves are forbidden in Islaam.

  • thanks you tube best video

  • Yes there have been great Muslims over the centuries whom we must respect; The Prophet, The Sahabah, The Prophets family members, the scholars/imams. But we should not raise a persons status above that which Allaah has given. Therefore, we cannot call upon (dua) anyone except Allaah, no matter how great the individual. Nothing has the right to be worshipped but Allaah alone. We love all those whom Allah loves, but we do not make dua to them or through them (intercession shafa).

  • Building mosques or places of worship over graves is forbidden. In fact a grave should not be more than a hand-span above the surrounding area. The shrines across the Islaamic world are all forbidden. Visiting them is sinful. What is worse however, is that those who visit these shrines call upon other than Allaah, which is Shirk. See how shaytaan has deceived the Muslims and taken them away from worshipping Allaah to worshipping the dead! Islaam orders us to supplicate (dua) to Allaah alone.
