@betfairscassanova Yes! The French kicked it off with Varese in the 20s & 30s, then the Germans came along with Stockhausen. One of Tangerine Dream's (German) influences was the psychedelic stuff by Pink Floyd (UK). Kraftwerk were influenced by these people, but they gave the world their own style, which you either like or don't like (me!). There is no clear major influence on today's electronic music- everyone has something new to offer the world of electronic music. Best stuff : USA & UK.

Kraftwerk's pioneering stuff is really only 1970s .The Afro-Americans brought electronic music to life - something the Germans couldn't do.
