  • I'm so so proud of Sri Lanka. Definitely belongs in this list!

  • @Bigboi5273, I think I must accept and respect your level of comprehension. We all are not equally blessed with same degree of intelligence. 'Lies Agreed Upon' is a documentary made by Sri Lankan Government to counter Channel-4 allegations in 'Sri Lanka's Killing Fields'. It is shocking to see how UN officials as guardians of democracy and human rights worked hand-in-hand with terrorists to abuse civilians and to lie to the world. If you so worried abt SL, watch and give your views.

  • @Bigboi5273, you typed 'best destinations, Sri Lanka popped up? That'S COOL! Sri Lanka is the best tourist destination. Tourism is booming, new airports, harbours, railways.. in short once you got their you feel the breath taking Sri Lankan hospiality. Many friends of mine in Europe have been to Sri Lanka. Hurry up, its just 500 euros a week HB, RO. google & see. Thanks for sharing your views on Channel4's 'Sri Lanka's killing Fields', you must watch 'Lies Agreed Upon' OMG its pletora of lies!

  • @yankee32323232 Stop making up foolish lies , I can tell that your a full tamil.( LOSER ). Tamil people are just so good at making up lies and Im guessing its one of the traits that they inherited from their ancestors. LOL.. For your infomation , Srilanka is a much beautiful and a safer place to go visit now that there's no pathetic terrorist of your kind dirtying up the nation!!!!

  • @Luxman4u, Do you call killing terrorists as genocie. half of Tamil population ( Tamils 12% of total population) live Sinhalese in South. How many Sinhalese live in North, Sinhalese were ethnicaly clenased in North and east. Can you deny that? Searh LTTE attrocities you will find out ow many massacres done by LTTE against Sinhalese. UK, USA, EU tried to save LTTE to drill oil wells in Sri Lanka, didnt succeed. Now Sri Lanka free of terror and ecnomicaly booming.

  • @Luxman4u - i live in srilanka, i live with my tamil friends not only them muslim friends also. we have church, temples, tamil temples. mosques in front of each but we dont have a problem infact we share(we go to each other to share the culture and religion). you got your word wrong, type the word "genoside" and google it you must find the meaning of the word which adds value to you next comments world in harmony will forgive you for your comment this time. have a nice day without hatred.

  • Sri Lanka gets cruise ship calls after war

Nov 16 (LBO) A luxury passenger vessel, MV Le Diamant, operated by the CMA CGM shipping line, has begun calls at Sri Lankan ports following the end of the island's 30-year ethnic war. • marco pole went to sri lanka?

  • @yankee32323232 oyiii psychotic fool who talked of a woman you idiot i was proud of the video uploaded n just commented what the fff is wrong with you freaking fools.... man get a life assH.....

  • @yankee32323232 yeah being half on every thing and not having a country to die for..yeah you shouldn't feel proud at all. its seems your a really immature and have no knowledge about the terrorism we had in SL. US lost 10 000 people we lost more than 100 000 people. isnt it a reason to worry about? it seems i'm just waisting my time here..think whatever you like, do whatever u want, we don't care!!! we have done fighting and we are moving on FAST!!

  • @yankee32323232 grim and dark is and overstatement when compared to whats happening in some African countries. At least in Sri Lanka it happened 20 years ago. many of the developed/developing countries had gone through a smiler phase in there history so its not just SL. if you want to live in the past, I don't care, we are moving on.

  • @yankee32323232 they were our people too. they had to die because they killed innocent people, government waited nearly 2 years before staring the final war but they never stopped killing people.. can you REMEMBER that? there were many forced recruits in LTTE who were forced to go to the battlefield and die for nothing.. i feel very sad about them. but people survived are already getting the real benefits of peace. regarding hospital bombing, it never happened.. BBC is pro- LTTE & u know that

  • @yankee32323232 i guess you need to get your english right... i said im proud to be srilanka... i know you guys go all around the world and then fight for a seperate country which you will never get.... get a life.. try to live in a mix society rather than being pushed around like slaves.... and for the reason of the war where innocent ppl suffered go ask your dead leader prabhakaran...

  • @yankee32323232 well i know it was grim and dark .if you say Tamils were brutally murdered before 20 years, same thing happned to Sinhales ppl in last four years. people suffered.lifes wasted. it was a madness and it had be stopped. current government did a big favor for people living in north and east.they don't fear death anymore(neither do we).past is past but we all learned a lesson (in the hard way)so lets move on. have a visit to your country and see how things have changed.its haven again.

  • no matter which part of the world you come from, how rich or poor you are or what your likes and dislikes are , sure you'll enjoy your stay at this magical island.. you'll be amazed by the diversity she offers being such a small island..

It is not safe to go there, u won't feel safe or have peace of mind. Every where you see people and police with big ass guns. People are very rude not friendly at all, this is not a place you want to take your family or spend ur holiday in.

  • @TheDJ1LOVE you are a LTTE terrorist...lolz...and ppl know it by ur comments!!!!!!! :-)..ha ha...so rest in peace brotha

  • @TheDJ1LOVE mther fkers like the one who made the above comment are just a bunch of losers that supported a terrorist group called LTTE. it was completely defeated so these people now have become a thing of past..these people are country-less and they live in many parts of the world except in sri lanka .. sri lanka is one of the safest countries in the world and people don't steal like in don't trust me on what I say about my country , just go to an independent travel review site and see.

July 26 (IL) Jetair, one of the leading tour operators in Belgium, has introduced Sri Lanka as a new winter destination, and will operate weekly charter flights from Brussels to Colombo commencing October 2010. The formal announcement was made at this year's 'Jetair Fly summer road show 2010' held last week at the Event Lounge - Brussels 600+ travel agents. more Belgian travelers will choose Sri Lanka, a novel experience to their life

  • "while overall tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka grew by 48% in the first six months of 2010 over the corresponding period the previous year, arrivals from Belgium was almost 60%". Noting that "despite the absence of a direct flight connecting the capitals, Belgium has been a country which sent visitors who have grown fond of Sri Lanka, who travelled there several times and were largely high spending"

  • Ambassador said "the decision taken by Jet Air to commence direct charter flights to Sri Lanka is not only a huge boost to the marketing of the destination in the BENELUX region, but will also add fillip to the numbers that will be able to visit the island". He called upon travel agents to promote Sri Lanka with vigor, and assured that Sri Lanka will match this enthusiasm by ensuring that it maintains quality and that guests return as satisfied customers.

  • Ambassador emphasized that Sri Lanka was re-branding itself in a more strategic manner as an 'exclusive location' and as a 'family destination', said the time was ripe to convert the awareness generated, into tangible increase in tourist traffic to Sri Lanka. The tour operators who attended the brain-storming said with peace returning to the island, they saw great potential in making Sri Lanka a "most preferred" destination among Belgian travelers.

  • Congrats from - SRILANKANHIRES - providers of low cost car hires in Srilanka.

  • No.2 exotic Sri Lanka!

  • Promoting tourism for sri lanka is now bad, since the genocide of tamil civilan by the government and its military, keeping tamil civilian lockedup behind barbed wire in disguisting conditions ie. lack of shelter, lack of toilet facilities, throwing food at civilans.

Sri lanka has the hisghest rate of missing persons any where in the world today! i do not know how these women can promote tourism in sri lanka at this time. DON'T GO THERE!

  • @THALAVARVIDS i know you are a lier since i live in sri lanka with tamil brothers, war is finished now and liers like u dont have influence on world community since they know about srilanka and jealous people like you, lie dont have a life or survival it's only temporary.
