A knife is nothing more than a tool, some knives are utilitarian, others are meant for collecting and are embellished with fancy handles blades etc.

You have to realize that a knife is also a type of art, actually its had its own category for thousands of years, and now most people don't buy knives to hurt people, they relish it as a piece of fine artwork.
