you have got to understand how this made people feel back in the day. it made you feel like the 3rd reich was much less of a threat, like they could be beaten. I mean, if bugs bunny or daffy can take them down, then our boys in the trenches could do it too! i really admire these old cartoons for the hope they inspired, and the joy they continue to bring to this day.

@antiadolph i never said the cartoon beat the nazis. That would be a foolish statement. I simply observed that it provided much needed motivation to the troops. And yes, the russians took the major brunt of allied casualties, but if you start discounting the part that both America and Britain played in WWII, then you are disrespecting the sacrifices made by nearly a million people.
