@PalinBOOBS You and I both know that Rush (whom I'm not a huge fan of anyway) meant his policies because he (and I) believed that they were not in the best interest of America. The American people spent 2 years opposing the healthcare reform that you are speaking of but their representatives laughed at them at all of their townhall meetings and told them that they would vote for it anyway. Oh, and the People still oppose it!

@PalinBOOBS It wasn't the tax cuts that failed America, it was the progressive policies that were instituted by Bush and the Democrats and Republicans in Congress (Remember that the House and Senate were almost evenly split in the 2000 and 2002 elections and the Dems took full control back in 2006. So unlike you try to claim it wasn't 8 years of Republican control but rather 4. And the Dems could have stopped the Bush cuts when they were first brought up in 2001!

And no, it's actually closer to 30% who have degrees, but that means nothing very little as well. Just because Jimmy didn't go to college doesn't mean that he is an idiot or retarded.

And no, Americans are not too dumb (or at least most aren't) but rather too busy with trying to provide for their own families to pay too much attention to what politicians are doing. Which is why we are where we are today. But things are changing. Today more Americans are informed of the issues than ever before. It's time for some real "change"

Even though the Democrats don't have the "super majority" in the Senate, they have enough progressive/liberal Republicans to do whatever they wanted as long as they had their own ducks in a row.

No. Are we withdrawing some of our troops from a war that the progressive Republican president had set up to be won before he left office? Yes. Are we possibly going to increase taxes during our depression? As things are now, the answer is likely, yes.

And you don't raise taxes in an economic environment like this! Raising taxes has been proven over and over again to cause the economy to slow down. And before you try to pin this solely on the GOP, think back to 2006 when the Dems took over the Congress. When did this all start?

The Reagan State made it very clear that it would not enforce the law, so that was carte blanche to employers to just ignore The Wagner Act, and just illegally fire people! This illegal destruction of Unions under Reagan was a major factor in lowering wages, and increasing the gap between the rich and the poor, in the U.S. to Great Depression Era Levels. In The Reagan Years, America simply resended Article 23, of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which guarantees elementary Human Rights of workers, including the right to form unions. Under Reagan, and Bush'41 our OSHA Agency (Protects the Safety of Workers) was a "Hands-Off" Agency, encouraging lawlessness, and unsafe working conditions. I saw workplace injuries go through the roof!
