Yes there are boards that are thicker than one inch, but one inch is the main size of most boards. For small kids, we use 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch boards. I don't know what types of boards you use, but one inch is standard.
Also, forearm and elbow breaks are interchangeable, in some arts it's elbow, in others forearm.
As for the technique comment, yes you need 4lbs of pressure, but just power alone will not break multiples of boards or bricks, nor will it work for intricate breaks.
no offense but boards are way thicker than that lol. and its not technique to break the board because any one can... all u use for board breaking is to determine if you can break it because it only takes 4lbs of preassure to break a board, as does a real bone... just lettin you know.. thank you , but nice vid
