a beautiful portrayal of the historical event of shivaji's escape by the sacrifice of his faithful men . you have provided an interesting desciption in the beginning about which we wer unfamiliar . lata ji's rendition is vey touching and brings out the essence of the poetry with her soulful singing .. thank you once again for another marathi gem . i loved reading the historical facts of our brave shivaji from maharashtra . thanks

What amazing valor & sacrifice by Baji & the troops !
Their sacrifice was not wasted though, as that allowed Shiva Ji to continue building his Kingdom for another 20 years !

What a wonderful story-telling to enlighten us with the history of Marathas, Sudhir, & a wonderful Tribute to Baji Prabhu Deshpande, a true Maharashtrian Hero who led the troops & fought till death to save the Life of his King, Shiva Ji !
Shiva Nhavi, though, as you describe, who had an uncanny physical resemblance to Shivaji, & volunteered to dress like the king & let himself be captured to deviate the enemy attention while ShivaJi's escape from them, touched my heart too, as he too was a Hero!
