  • fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Too Funny ! I love Dean Martin.

  • 218 people can't take a joke

  • ASSHOLES!!!

  • The face dean makes when hi sung the line "god save the queen"...

    PRICELESS, absolutely PRICELESS.

  • I don't see what American Idol has to do with this funny video.

A vocalists doesn't have to be a musican and a musican doesn't have to be a vocalist. If you have the luck of obtaining both talents then good for you.

Some people are lucky to live in a time where technology can give you advantages threw live preformances, such as autotune and what not. The time in history where you can half-ass everything...woot.

  • @KarliKawaii It has absolutely nothing to do with the video it just came up in the long argument. I have nothing against vocalists, I just think it's sorta unfair that just by singing in American Idol one can become famous, while someone spends years learning an instrument and they often don't get a chance to make it big.

  • @Peaceblank I agree, but that's just tellivision. Ther're allot of unfair things beyond the tv in the world. I think that if we didn`t have the un-fair advantages we see people making money/fame off of, we wouldn't have as must respect for people who obtain sucess or fame fairly for real tallents and real reasons for what made them who they are known for.

  • Funny^^ I really like the beatles.

  • hahahahhaha, I love The Beatles, but this is too funny!!!

  • This is pretty funny XD

  • i think this was about the time were America hated the beatles because john said they were better then jesus

  • I am and always have been a Dean Martin fan but, this showed poor taste.

  • @1darrclar

I think you have no sense of humor.

  • Can't you all worry about whats going on in our country/your Country rather than worry about if people like the Beatles or not. ITS NOT IMPORTANT . With all thats going on in the world today you worry about someone hating the beatls. wow no wonder America is in such shitty shape.

  • People know this is a parody. Most expressing their dislike are not missing that point; they just don't agree. I think it is done in fun but is not that funny. FYI Dean did not dislike the Beatles. In a interview he said they were really good singers though he was tired of hearing them played so much by his kids. He even arranged for his kids to privately meet the Beatles. As for Sherman the parody's writer, he had some tough financial times & likely Dean invited him on the show to help out

  • @ToTheMaxxxxxx i think they said king, but i'm not sure.

  • @Peaceblank i think it was king or something

  • MADE MY DAY

  • See that, that right there? That's class. They may be saying that they hate the Beatles but they did it with class and taste. Not individually stating they hate them and calling them names .

Nobody in that time would ever jump on the stage and say one should of gotten the award over the other. Say like Kanye did to Taylor swift

  • To end this pointless discussion

    Beatles were good and talented

the rat pack were good and talented

other singers were good and talented

todays music is nothing compared to classic music

  • @acquakes Nicely put

  • @acquakes & future music will be nothing compared to current music. This argument will go on for as long as music exists. The problem is that most people are unable to hear/comprehend "talent" in music they dislike. As a musician, I can hear/appreciate talent (if it's there), even in music I dislike. I mean, even if a person totally hates classical music, how can they claim that Mozart, Beethoven, etc, are not talented/suck? They might not "like" them, but they're still talented.

  • we cant assume that.

I mean, i see nowadays, many successful singers are bringing class and honour to todays music

take michael buble for example. even though hes an ass sometimes on the stage but he really sing with passion

    Bruno mars is another one.

he's so talented his live performances is even better than his video clips, unlike 90% of todays singer.

and sure, Mozart and Beethoven, these are flawless talented musicians

i think they were aliens who do everything perfectly.

  • stupid people who really do not know music

  • I hate these 3 idiots!!!

  • 1- Get a British Empire medal, and them say that you hate them

2- Go to the drums, Ringo is one of the best.

3- What is the funny thing about it? .. Brazilians are more intelligent in comedy stuff

  • wow i love how people on youtube are such geniuse's!!!!!! do u get my sarcasm????

  • doesnt matter if martin was sober or not he hated rock and roll.as did most people from his generaion.

  • Hey Jude LP from Feb 1970 track list---Hey Jude/Revolution/I Should Have Known Better/Lady Madonna/Can't Buy Me Love/Don't Let Me Down/Old Brown Shoe/Rain/The Ballad Of John And Yoko

The only song I hate on the LP is The Ballad Of John And Yoko. Should have been switched to Get Back.

  • @sarcasticmetaphor44 All music already started being made by machines in 1997. It is called autotune.

  • WTF IS THIS?!

  • @franvenan It was just in fun..don;t take it so seriously..the Beatles didn't.

  • I don't hate the Beatles, but people say they have the greatest influence on music in the last 30 years. So I look at the music in the last 30 years. Then I compare the music in the last 30 years to the music 30 years prior to the Beatles, and the music 30 years prior to the Beatles, in my opinion, is far superior. I didn't grow up with the 30's-60's era nor the Beatles decade, so I don't love my childhood music or resent it, just a plain view of both groups of music.

  • oh yes fellas very witty ,I'm laughing my arse off!

  • Aww ... that's all ya got? I actually don't care for the song, but I adore Sherman and was enjoying seeing him perform.

  • Man, I think Dean was actually sober in this clip.

  • @67goldtops you would be wrong, Martin wasn't sober from '57 on, Great singer, greater drunk ;-)

  • now this this is awesome

  • The Beatles = Awesome. But this is a really old comedy gag so I can't really feel threatened. Also everyone has a right to opinion.

  • THAT THE HELL IS THISS??!??!?!? D: I dont laugh at this because i am to big of a beatles fan :(

  • I can't believe some of people can't undertstand this joke LOL I also think the beatles would laughed at it.

  • The Beatles would have laughed at this lol.

  • people like dean martin and frank sinatra are real vocal tallent

  • @SupErFeRrit22 people like martin and sinatra are nothing but lucky. Many people have great voices, they were lucky to be the ones that made it.

  • hahahahaha funny

  • @LEEUMSK8 again two different sets of talents. Look at Martin and Lewis and the mobs of crowds they drew in the 40s. The sell out crowds for his solo music act. Look at the millions of dollars he got for his TV show which was a record at the time in the 1960s. Just because you play many different instruments doesn't make you a better talent. Different. Completely different. Every generation goes thru what you saw above. Not liking the new style of music. Take it as it is, a joke, not personal.

  • Comment removed

  • I can't stand the Beatles. And I find this parody song very disappointing. The 60s were weird.

  • oh no he didn't!!!!

  • I absolutely adore The Beatles, BUT THIS VIDEO. LOL

  • you know who are big beatles fans? they're called music critics

  • The Beatles are wank the most over rated band off all time!!!

  • @nomercyforpercy16 Without The Beatles most of your favorite bands and artists wouldnt even be on stage right now. I dont care if you hate or love them, but they were very inspirational in the music industry.

  • @GuitarHeroOsbourne Yea cos im sure that Harrison was a massive inspiration to Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. in fact im sure that he was the main reason that they both picked up a guitar. if you truly believe that then you are a moron. reprobates like you need to realise there were good musicians around long before the Beatles, and before you try selling me some bullshit answer that both vai and satriani were influenced by the beatles they weren't the main influence of both of them was frank zappa

  • @nomercyforpercy16 You're a typical internet Guitar geek. Steve Vai and Joe Satriani are fret-wanking dickheads. 20 minute guitar solo's do not equate to being a good musician. They've never written a good song between them. The real talent in music is writing, and George Harrison wrote some of the most famous songs of all time.

  • @jen3216ful That's your opinion. Dean Martin may be dead, but he still has a lot of fans in the world, and younger ones too. Quit being ignorant.

  • i love the beatles...i'm a die hard fan of them and love everything about them...but this is haillarious xD

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • It's just a joke people. Lighten up...

  • All beatle lovers shouldn't be offended by this, because they are still remembered while this trio is long forgottten.

Think about it: : Paul McCartney got a bigger obituary than either Allan Sherman or Dean Martin. And he didn't even die!!!!!

  • i don't find this to bashing the beatles just gave them over 100,000 more publicity views.

  • The crowd are gay.

  • I fucking hate The Beatles. Don't know why lol

  • @dahellish I guess you're just naturally filled with hate and need a place to put it.

  • @GrigoriSom maybe

  • 2 DOWN 2 MORE TO GO AND BAMMMM...THE BEATLES REUNION ALL YOU HIPPIES WANTED WILL COME TRUE!! :-)

  • @NEVERLEAVEORFORSAKE But their music will remain alive. for ever... like elvis preasley

  • @NEVERLEAVEORFORSAKE . All you 'Hippies?' LOL. I detest that word. FYI, one doesn't have to be a so-called, 'Hippy' to love and enjoy their music. People who called them long-haired queers listen to their music to this day. 2 down and 2 to go. How rude! The remaining two might be around a lot longer than NeverLeaveOrForsake. Toni

  • .*****Thumbs up

  • Ok people on hear are complaining about Beatle haters and then are hating Dean Martin, the beatles and Dean are nothing alike not in the same genre or anything so you can't possibly compare them so don't

  • Where on Youtube is the version where it was just Sherman. It had a whole bunch of good verses. It included a verse about the Beattles starting out in Liverpool. It said they used to live & play there, & it ended w/ Why didn't they stay there?" It was all kinds of ranting over the r&r group who stole his thunder.

  • Mercadotecny + 4 not black guy of Liverpool = Succes!!! < For sellers, screw the brainwashed masses

  • 3 jealous old men....

  • Go to hell, all the Beatle-haters..!

  • @GreenBaldrick But I dont wanna go where the beatles are :c

  • @LEEUMSK8 - two totally sets of talent there. tho just to remind you Dean was a movie, tv, radio, night club and singing star in which he excelled at for MANY MANY years. not just one or two things like The Beatles. Oh and btw - Dean was the first artist to oust the Beatles from number one with Everybody Loves Somebody :)

  • bizarre

  • Gosh this is so funny! :D haha I LOVE The Beatles:3

I think Beatlefans rock but I don't like them being rude and annoying with people who has a different opinion about The Beatles! :S I mean... I also don't get why some persons don't like them but that's no reason for fighting!

Remember peace and love Beatlefans<3 If we fight between ourselves we would be contradicting The Beatles and what we love about them<3

  • Aww someone is pissy because The Beatles is and always will be more successful than them :).

  • I heard this song on the radio a few days ago and it had loads more verses. Where's the rest? Brilliant lyrics :D

  • I love Frank and Dean and I love the Beatles. A new era was dawning on the 60's. Jass was fading :'(. So, Rock & Roll was rising at a time where these class gentlemen were near ages of 40 and 50 and they were expected to like this? No. My parents don't enjoy rap(filth). Who knows what genre these artists would have been involved in if born in the 40's?. Point: Youthful viewer's attention moved in a different direction and Jazz was declining below Rock. I'm 17, and fuck my generations noise.

  • @JrSinatraJr arcade fire

  • haters get a life! the funny thing is i didnt laugh at this at all! you guys are wasting your time dipshits

  • The Beatles are so very overrated.

  • @Thecuregalore94 THEY ARE IN NO WAY OVERRATED YOU IGNORANT STUPID FOOL! YOU HAVE OBVIOUSLY NEVER LEARNED ANYTHING ABOUT MUSIC HISTORY DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH INFLUENSE THEY HAVE HAD ON THE WORLD AND YEAH IT IS A FACT THAT THEY ARE THE MOST POPULAR BAND EVER NO ONE HAS EVER HAD MORE FANS THAN THE BEATLES AND IF YOU ARE GOING TO ARGUE WITH ME I WILL BE HAPPY TO PROVE THAT TO YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hildiguru Never learned anything about music eh? My favourite bands include Joy Division, The Cure and The Smiths. The Beatles are horrifically overrated, their influence is ASSUMED just because they arrived in an age of dull, repetitive music and were SLIGHLTY different to the mainstream. You can shout and scream all you want, their lyrics are crap, the instruments are very easy to play and their money-grabbing ways are what's wrong with music today. Oh, and learn to spell, mate.

  • @Thecuregalore94 As I already told you, I would be happy to prove that they are the world's most popular band. And sorry about my spelling I am not from an English speaking country and I am a girl, so don't call me a mate stupid !! And yeah I am 20 years old and I belive that I am way smarter than you! And their lyrics are crap? Well I admit that the early Beatles' texts were alot about the same thing love. but listen to A day in the Life, Hey Jude and others and LEARN what they are about MORON

  • @hildiguru You don't dance. And if you don't dance, you're no mate of mine. Anyway, the Beatles are the most popular but also by far the most overrated band of all time. You're way smarter than me? You talk like an American and you're telling me that a band who has written 'I am a walrus', 'Yellow submarine' and 'Ob-la-di, ob-la-da' is lyrically talented. I've learnt what they're about, nothing more to it than drugs, a repetitive sound and a horrific sense of fashion.

  • @Thecuregalore94 Yes, I belive I am smarter than you, you are wrong about me I am not American you stupid fuck!!!! And as I already said The Beatles have some songs that might not have good lyrics, but listen to A day in the Life, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Strawberry Fields Forever, Within you Without you! And yeah I am way smarter than you, and I will be happy to prove that :) And you don't wanna start this fight, Beatles fans are a large part of this world so you better stop now you dipshit ;)

  • @hildiguru Seeing as a 'fuck', 'dipshit' and 'wanna' aren't real words, I'm finding your word hard to take seriously. You are not superior to me in terms of intelligence, you are a very obnoxious woman who is tagging along the trend of being the 'Beatles Snob'. You believe that they seem to have influenced everything, but that is pretty much bullshit. Large part of this world? Half the cunts are dead for starters.

  • @Thecuregalore94 Oh, real mature, why won't we move this argument over to facebook you can add me ok? I will prove to you that I AM RIGHT :) ..and you.. are wrong :D

  • @hildiguru I'm not giving my personal details to a stranger who obviously is horribly dellusional and jumping on the Beatles bandwagon. Have fun being so mainstream, really shows your creativity and innovation.

  • @Thecuregalore94 OK you very immature person. You are probably afraid I will destroy you in debate :) Hahahah ok and try to grow up, and if you think I am mainstream you need a serius reality check !!! You don't know me

  • @hildiguru Why not debate here rather than access my personal details? You are mainstream, you like the Beatles. Simple, love. I will destroy you in the English language, for I am able to actually use it correctly, unlike you.

  • @Thecuregalore94 Oh real mature, pointing at my English, well I am from a none Engilsh speaking country as I already mentioned, and in my county there are not alot of people who can speak English, so I am pretty good at it :) And hey, I am going to show you how mature I am by telling you this; I am right, and I know I am right, you are wrong and think you are right :) I win you loose oh boo hoo ! :D I don't need to prove anything to you because .. I KNOW I'M RIGHT :)

  • @hildiguru You think you're mature by poncing about like a child screaming 'look at me, I think I'm right'? That's truly pathetic. Oh, and please fix your spelling.

  • @Thecuregalore94 I'm right, you are wrong:) I know that.. and please stop talking to me I don't waste my time on stupid people :Þ

A derpity derpy derp. Until one day, a derbaderbaderba derp! DERP DERP, de tiddly tom!

  • In what way are the Beatles overrated? There is a reason they have endured for more than half a century. I can't speak for others, but I love the Beatles because of the beauty of their harmonies, the technical proficiency and the overall greatness of their music. I'm know I'm not the only one who feels this way. You probably think being a fan of The Beatles makes me some kind of mindless conformist. You think you're so hip and cool for being a contrarian, well you're not, you're a douche

  • @breeeegs They are overrated in the sense that people think they're amazing just because they were the first of their musical genre. They weren't actually very talented and were often quite repetitive and dull. I'm not saying you're a mindless conformatist, I'm just disappointed that people think that just because they came out in the 1960s, the Beatles must therefore have inspired every people of music ever. This is false. I'm not being hip, mate, and douche isn't in the English language.

  • Overrated and dull? You've got to be kidding me. The Bealtes were incredibly innovative and experimented with so many different sounds and styles throughout their career, going from straightforward pop to deeply personal lyrics to psychedelia. Don't forget Helter Skelter, which is considered to be one of the first heavy metal songs

  • The impact of the Beatles - not only on rock & roll but on Western culture - is simply incalculable. As musicians, they proved that rock & roll could embrace a limitless variety of harmonies, structures and sounds; virtually every rock experiment has some precedent on Beatle records. Although many of their sales and attendance records have since been surpassed, no group has so radically transformed the sound and meaning of rock & roll."

    - Rolling Stone Encyclopedia of Rock and Roll

  • @breeeegs Oh oh course! So if a magazine-turned-internet source has said it, it MUST be irreputable, factual evidence. What a load of shit. Why should a mainstream music enterprise's statement be fact? Depending on who you ask, you could argue that Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley or Ludwig Van Beethoven influenced every piece of music ever. The impact of the Beatles? A low-talent example of how stupid the general public can be when it comes to music. Hence why the X-factor is still on television.

  • @Thecuregalore94 You could also say the first cavemen that banged 2 rocks together thousands of years ago had the greatest influence on music. Sinatra, Elvis, Beethoven>>>>>>>>>>>>>Beatles

  • @MrHowlandHFM Indeed. To conclude, The Beatles are outdated and boring. Cavemen are the new wave of music.

  • @dnm7090 Alan: My daughter needs a new phonograph she wore out all the needles, besides I broke the old one in half I hate the Beatles. Vic: Ringo is the one with drum, the others all play with him he shows you what a boy can be come without a since of rhythm. Dean: The boys are from the British empire, the British think there keen if that is that the British desire god say the queen.

    There you go buddy.

  • Dean sounds like Stewie from Family Guy at the end. anyone agree?

  • i like the beatles, but this is still funny!

  • hahahaha i love the beatles but ill just thumbs up cuase the song is so stupid and funny that is so nice it made me laugh :D

  • I look at both Sinatra and Dino as legends, but there is no way their brilliance can ever compare to that of The Beatles.

  • 1 out of 5 billion people in the planet hate the beatles

  • I love the Beatles, and I still think this is funny! It's just comedy about a father finding the music that's popular among teens annoying, particularly when it's played over and over and over again, it isn't anything personal about the Beatles.

  • @xoxoUpsilamba Well, the full lyrics are a bit more critical and you can see elements of that here with the criticisms of the drumming. Elsewhere there are barbs about the guitars being out-of-tune. It makes no difference to me but it's laughable in retrospect (not in the sense that it's funny but in the sense that these guys thought they had a good point).

  • @JGuildersleeve Ringo starr was a mediocre drummer the most overrated of the 60s. Paul was the best drummer in the Beatles. The great George Martin who made the Beatles successful even thought Ringos Drumming was mediocre hahahahahahaha. The Beatles are all about Hype none of them are really that great individually. Paul was the most talented one but he wasn't anything special. He hasn't made a good song in 40 years hahahahahahah

  • @xoxoUpsilamba Updated version. "My daughter needs a new iPod, bla bla bla bla.....I hate the Beiber...."

  • @gjc82071 updated huh? beiber cant play guitar.he is manufactured and not a musician like the beatles were.you are an idiot.

  • @jayfey77 beiber has no talent. You're the idiot. You're too stupid to recognize "sarcasm" when you see it. What a dumb-ass.

  • @gjc82071 i know he has no talent you retard thats why i said he isnt a musician.and sarcasm on text when you cant hear someone is like trying to tell if a person is mute in a silent film.you are an idiot.

  • @jayfey77 That's a misguided analogy (sarcasm/silent film). Writers throughout history have utilized sarcasm in the written word. Here's a fittingly applicable (& slightly ironic) example of *written* sarcasm: "One good thing about you being wrong is the joy it brings to others.". Now you'll probably continue to defend your misconceptions, rather then concede that you were mistaken. Be warned. If you chose that route, this can & will end only with you looking even more foolish.

  • @gjc82071 you are the one who is wrong because sarcasm is something you have to hear and pick up on you dumbass.i can't believe people are as retarded as you.

  • @jayfey77 You make no sense. "I" am "stupid"/retarded, because YOU lack the intelligence to understand sarcasm in written form? By your own misguided logic, I guess Einstein is stupid, because YOU can't comprehend the theory of relativity? Perhaps Euclid is a moron, because you don't understand geometry? Do you have any other personal shortcoming you'd like to blame me/others for? You must really enjoy the taste of your own foot, because you persistently insert it in your mouth.

  • @jayfey77 BTW, since you obviously don't understand it (among many other things) let's revert back to my original comment. Due to your proven ignorance, I will oversimplify the point in question. In the video, Allan Sherman's song references his daughter/a phonograph & he say's "I hate the Beatles". Kids in the 60's listened to The Beatles on "vinyl records". Kids today listen to Beiber on "iPods". Hence, the same way parents in the 60's hated The Beatles, parents TODAY hate Beiber. Go it?

  • @gjc82071 thats still wrong since the beatles weren;t manufactured like beiber is.and the beatles made songs that were banned by the bbc and did drugs.they were hardly wholesome like beiber is.so you are still wrong comparing bieber to the beatles.you are better off comparing beiber to the monkees.the monkees were manufactured and werent musicians either like beiber.

  • @jayfey77 I never compared the Beatles to Beiber. My comparison is in regards to the music that different generations listen to & the mode of playback used to do it. I am curious how that is indicative of somebody's intelligence?

  • @jayfey77 Hey don't drag the monkees into this. They were a TV show they knew they were expected to act and not play, but when the quality of the music was threatening to decline they rallied against the producers to create and record their own music. Also two of them Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith were actual musicians, the first being a renounded folk singer in the village and the other releasing his own record prior to the show. The other two were actors but they learned instruments.

  • @Peaceblank monkees were manufactured thats why they can be brought into this.only nesmith had any talent.singing isnt a talent either if it was then we would be cazlling the pussycat dolls talented.imagine how fewer people would try out for american idol if you had to be able to play a instrument and sing.but since its just singing you get all these losers try out because singing is easy thats why you have crappy singers today make it big but who cant play anything.

  • @jayfey77 They were manufactured at the beginning, but later on they broke away from that and actually became a real band. During their live performances each one of them played their instruments. Jones filled in on drums or bass if Tork or Dolenz were occupied. They didn't perform on only the first two albums after that they played on all the songs. Nesmith was talented but he wasn't the only one he has commented how Tork was on guitar. Singing doesn't take talent so I agree no that.

  • @Peaceblank i seen their live performances and they are a joke.it's really bad.

  • @jayfey77 Well that's really just your own personal opinion, and doesn't mean anything to anybody other than you.

  • @Peaceblank opinion?everything i said is a fact you fool.i stated facts not opinions.

  • @jayfey77 By stating that you have seen them live and they were terrible is your opinion. This is because you can only judge them based on your prefences and not facts. You can't prove they were bad during a live performance you can only state your personal opinion.

  • @Peaceblank i didnt say i saw them live.there is video of them on youtube.they are as amatuerish as it gets.their versions of their songs aren't even close to sounding like their records.you can tell they didn't play on the studio versions.and for good reason.

  • @jayfey77 Again it is your opinion and not fact that they sound bad on these videos. If these videos are from the 60s I doubt you could even hear them over the screaming of fans let alone tell if they were good or not. Of course they sound different from the records, have you ever seen or listened to a live performance that was exactly the same as on the record. Again I will state the fact you are neglecting to acknowledge wich is that the only records they didn't play on were the first two.

  • @Peaceblank you Are a biased dumbass.of course i have heard live performances that sound alot like the record.the monkees weren't even close to doing that.their live performances were a joke.thats why they were never released on record.they didnt play on any records.it says they did one together but i dont even believe that.since they have never shown proof of having any kind of musical talent after that.

  • @jayfey77 You ignore that two of them played instruments prior to the monkees one released a record that was good, the other was a great musician in the Village. Photographs of them playing in the studio exist. You call me a dumbass well you know what, sod off, you may think they are bad but that is only you, other people think they sound great it's everyones personal opinion so you should just go find some one who agrees with you and diss them to your hearts content you ponce.

  • @Peaceblank you are a foll anybody can have a picture taken of them playing an instrument.it doesnt mean they caqn play it.if the monkees sounded so great live they would have been released live on record.they couldnt play.they had musicians perform for them.you sound like one of those idiots who said nsync could play.

  • @jayfey77 First of all please check your spelling before posting(that goes for everyone on the internet by the way). Second again there is solid proof they play, you're still ignoring that they played before the monkees. Third you don't have to release live performances take the Beatles for example(good page for this isn't it). Have I said anything about nsync I don't think so, I don't know anything about them, I always thought they just danced and sang.

  • @Peaceblank accoording to nsync fans they can play you geek.and the monkees can't play if they could they would have done so on their albums.why do you think they brought in musicians you dumbass.because the monkees sucked at playing.thats why.

  • @jayfey77 look I'll tell you again for the billionth time they did play on the records all of them except the first two, but dolenz did stop playing drums on the other records after headquarters because he only learned so he could play live.

  • @Peaceblank thats bullshit and you know it if they could play that well it would have been proven in concert.anyone who saw them in conceert can hear they play like shit.

  • @jayfey77 Well wether or not they sound good is in the eye(or in this case ear) of the beholder so you may think they are bad but I like them and so do other people. So just shut up already, I beginning to believe you just keep ignoring key points in my argument just because you can't seem to comprehend them.

  • @Peaceblank if they sounded good then they wouldnt have had real musicians used for them in the studio you retard.and if they really played in those albums like you said then they would sound like that in concert but they werent even remotely close.so your just full of shit.

  • @jayfey77 Really, I am? Who knew, I guess that explains the mysterious smell around here. But besides that lovely revelation do some research for once in your insignificant life and learn the history of the Monkees instead of just spouting out false statments repeatedly. So, go forth and learn that way, maybe, we can save mankind from the plight it has so long endured known as stupidity. So in conclusion use the giant lump of tissue between your ears for once, it's just collecting dust.

  • @Peaceblank everybody knows the monkees were manufactured.they were put together by nbc you dumbass.you need to get your head out of your ass and do some research.these guys were put together for acting purposes not musical.and it shows.dumbass.

  • @jayfey77 You know I think I knew that, in fact that's what I said in the beginning of my comments. But apparently you're just ignoring what I say and using you're imagination to fill in some stupid replies. It's like I'm arguing with a rock. Wait I take that back that was very insulting towards rocks. So since you don't read these I shall fill the space left with varying insults moron imbecile git ponce arschloch dummkopf baka poofter pillock ninny and shut your festering gob you twit

  • @Peaceblank you don't act like you know it judging by your last comment you dumbass.

  • @jayfey77 Really? When did I ever say anything contrary to this? I'm pretty sure I haven't. Unless you've been reading those imaginary comments again. Also why do you keep insulting me I never did anything to aggravate you to that extent. Now before you say I've said some things back just keep in mind you instigated it. So as long as you keep throwing tedious insults I shall also continue you bigmouth little git.

  • @Peaceblank 2 comments before.so now you just ignore what you said.you are a biased idiot.

  • @jayfey77 Still throwing petty insults I see. Anyway that comment in no way contradicts what I said. I said they were made for TV at first then they fought against the producers to play their own music. Then I said they play their own instruments. Whether you like their playing is a separate matter based on personal opinion and in no way deals with whether or not they actually played.

  • @Peaceblank if they were talented like you say and could play they would have had a sucessful career after they broke up which they didnt.you are an idiot.they didnt play their own instruments.and they didnt play on their own albums and they didnt wrtie the songs either.tghose are the facts.

  • @jayfey77 Wow you really do know nothing. Nesmith went on to record albums and make videos that were successful. Jones and Dolenz stopped because they originally were actors. Tork formed his own group and still records and does shows. Just because they weren't as big as they were as when they were the monkees doesn't mean their careers weren't successful. It is great luck if a group becomes as popular as they were, most groups that were good did not share the same amount of popularity.

  • @Peaceblank dont be a dumbass all your life.

  • @jayfey77 Well if we're giving advice now. Don't live without a brain all your life, they're very handy. So go out there and get yourself one today. Remember supplies limited so hurry. Limit of one brain per customer. Brains come in varying intellect ranging from lobotomized to genius. This just in genius is now limited to those out there willing to accept that they are wrong and who remember to check their spelling. Remember kiddies that is what spell check is for. So order now!

  • @Peaceblank well you have been proven to be an idiot.if the monkees could play then they would have played and not had musicians play for them.and had songs written for them.this is common knowledge.yet you act dumb and pretend you don't know this.there is no hope for you.and you also ignore how they didn't do anything after they broke up.more proof that they couldnt't play or write hit songs.

  • @jayfey77 Weird, you still seem to be living in a state of denial I suggest seeing a counselor about that. I mean it's not like any reputable sources agree with my statements. I bet if you looked up Nesmith's First National Band you wouldn't even get anything, or even for his song Sunset Sam. Why am I an idiot when through this conversation I have given evidence and restated real life events to back me up while you just repeat over and over they didn't play. Well if so, where is the proof?

  • @Peaceblank the proof is on their albums showing song writing credits and musicians.and only nesmith was the only one who showed any musical ability after they broke up.but to call them a real musical group is ignorant.

  • @jayfey77 Nesmith and Tork both wrote songs for the monkees, Torks being more heard in their movie and tv special than the albums. Dolenz also wrote several songs with the group and both he and Jones wrote a lot of songs after Tork and Nesmith left. Tork formed several groups one being called the new monks and his latest I think is called shoe suede blues. Jones had a successful for a while in music same with Delonz they were in a group with Boyce and Hart.
