Tasco rifle scope part 1

My scope is all fucked up. I bought it used. How do I get it to 100 yard distance? Does the word "up" have to be at the top?

I don't now about the rifle scopes, but the spotting scopes are garbage.

then again since scopes are completely adjustable, the only thing that is important is to have it maintain it's zero after firing the rifle.

i cant believe you made a video about how to mount a scope, I have a tasco now, I bought it because it was cheap on ebay, it is 25x with illumination, but now I'm worried that it may not be a very good scope, especially since they sale Tasco at Wal mart now off the shelf, they must not be very good. they put the better ones in the case but I still wouldn;t buy anything precision from walmart

the newer tascos,are a crap shoot,some are only ok,and others...

dude,not to be mean,but you cannot compare chinese glass and construction to a Leupold,they arent cheap for a very good reason,quality costs. cheap costs every time it breaks down on you.

good luck in any case, but I'd move up to a Leupold if I had the choice

always brother,if you look at my videos,I buy good stuff for not ridiculous prices. also if you get something that isnt made well, it'll break and need replacement or fail you at the worst possible time. do your research,I know finding out about scopes online is iffy at best,but they will sometimes crop up on forums and let you know a truly sucky one. tell you from personal experiance,chinese tascos arent all that great,tons of parallax,& zoom errors.get a used leupold,lifetime guarentee too

Dude,no disrespect,but the glass and the construction of a tasco can in no way compare to LEUPOLD. earlier JAPANESE were built by HAKKO/NIKKO, quality stands way out in terms of construction. the TAIWANESE arent bad, CHINESE flat out suck. but then again,you might have gotten one where the stars alined and the gods smiled on your particular scope, you got a DECENT one. as for FOV, place both side by side and look through them,then move from side to side,bet the tasco blurs first,that's PARALLAX

@80spodcastchannel most ppl have trouble because they use the scope that are mostly designed for smaller caliber guns and they stickit on a 308 or 30 06 and it doesnt hold zero if you buy a world class or there target varment scope it will b just fine my stepdad hasnt had to sight his tasco in in over ten years he had it a a new england arms sporter style 30 06 that little fucker kicks like a mule for a 30 06 my real dad sighted his in once never did it again it was on a brit 303 dumy sold it

@jerrymaira lol well your in luck mate i believe that is a .22 and pretty much any tasco should be good to go really 22 rifles do not kick so you will not have to worry about it knocking and not retaining zero unless you get a complete lemon i got some sorta tasco on my .223 and it holds zero fine tasco world class are great but there varment scopes for you if you want ALOT of zoom power get 1 of there 6 to 24 variables there about $90 to $115 and will work great for all varmint calibers

@80spodcastchannel Your buying into marketing crap! i've had both have neither now! the world class went from browning abolt 300 win mag to 7mm mag to bk92 black night muzzle-loader. just sold it off on a 243 not long ago! the scope was tough as a tank and over 15 years old! At the time it was bought people like you were saying tasco was crap! low end Leupold is crap! they make it crap on purpose! go buy a rifleman or vx1 then compare it with Leupold owned red-field cheaper revolution! haha

I bought this scope a year ago, the poi shifts when you zoom in or out, it does not hold a zero! I returned it a week later haha
