I know as usual with japanese RPG openings this is full of cryptic shit and metaphors but I'm determined to crack down on this! First off, the english version's 'subtitle' for the game.."A Promise Unforgotten", hinted in the opening here. Valvatorez was once human and made a promise to his lover before going after some ancient artifact. after obtaining it, he became a demon. vampire to be precise, and as such lost his self conscious and some of his memory. but one thing stood out..the promise.

@vathic Either he remembers the promise from the start and his fight is to go back to his lover despite his transformation, or he remembers it at some mid-point in the game and from there his quest is to see his lover again I am unsure. However, the only other cryptic metaphor is the prinny-girl who's name I can't be arsed to remember. looks to me like a prinny manufacturing line. My guess is, she's a "Prinny Defect" the reincarnation process failed on her..she could be PARTIALLY a prinny.
