  • NICE TRYTHIS IS A FAKE PERIOD

FOLKS WHO WANTS THE REAL TRUTH ABOUT THE PHOENIX LIGHTS?

I DARE YOU TO COME SEE MY VIDEO ITs A FACT IT'S 100% REAL

AND IT'S ONE OF THE GOVERMENTS BIGGEST LIES EVER I GUARENTEE

YOU WANNA HERE WHAT I HAVE TO SAY... SEE MY VIDEO RESPONCE AMAZING BLACK AIRCRAFT OR UFO REAL, OR YOU CAN DO A GOOGLE SEARCH FOR THE MINUTEMAN FILES"

    youtube.com/watch?v=Zb4yKVTxCkg

  • All I have to say is, flares.

  • War of the worlds

  • shooting stars! pretty! lol

  • phoenix are not legends not myth but it's mytholengency.

  • looks like there fighting in the first couple of seconds lol

  • I do agree that ufos are real in the conventional sense, but those do not look like ufos. They look more like air flares or something, possibly even a small meteor shower

  • Yes, this timelapse is definitely of military flares from airplanes. I've seen them many times, including on the night in March 1997 when they were mis-identified as alien spacecraft from Phoenix, and they are easily recognized.

  • ufo's are real their here in pa by the blue mountains's!! but the world would be in shambles if the conecept of other life existed because realigion and control over people , and sceince would be proven false basically!! a LIL secret to seeing ufo's wait between 11pm and 4am in an area that is mostly corn fields and remote and closly watch for star like objects that are way lower then stars!!

  • this video doesn't supports the theory that the phoneix lights were flares. if anything, it shows that the phoenix lights WEREN'T flares. look at the video from 1997 and look at what you have at 72 fps and you'll see that its impossible you've proven anything at all. your flares move independently, the phonix lights didn't move at all

  • Actually, at least one of the videos of the "Phoenix Lights" made in 1997 do show the flares falling behind the distant mountains. My images show very much more detail than the original videos do given the longer exposures using a digital camera and then compressed into this timelapse. I saw the March 1997 flares which were identical to what I photographed here and the video and description of the SW Phoenix lights is extremely consistent with what I saw.

  • jscotti, how could 1 tape show them falling and another doesn't? is it possible they were 2 separate incidents? i appreciate what you saw in 97 and what you taped but here is a distinct difference between this tape and the tape from 97. the lights in 97 didn't fall, sway, anything. they remained in the same position for an extended period of time. im not saying you're right or they are, but i, as someone who wasn't there, would like the explanation to that question...

  • A few things - the flares were dropped a great distance away from the Phoenix metropolitan area so the motion is quite slow. My timelapse shows flares that last about 8-15 minutes and are part of a telephoto shot, so the motion is quite magnified. The videos of the Phoenix lights were made from different locations so one might show the flares falling behind mountains while the other wouldn't. The motion is slow and might be hard to see without optical aid like a telescope.

  • The problem is that clear evidence of "them" just lets others dictate what they are. This will lead to your death and the 2nd death for all eternity. Nephilim Rising...

  • Thanks jscotti!

  • this is a great video because it proves the 'Phoenix Lights" WERE and ARE legitimate UFO's / Light beings/ whatever, and NOT flares. Compare these flares to the new Phoenix light videos of April 21 2008. There is a definite difference!!! Excellent!

  • Indeed, the April 21 objects were not military flares over the Goldwater range like these. They were a hoax perpetrated with baloons and small road flares, and were local to Phoenix. The hoaxer has even confessed. Of course, that won't stop the UFO=Aliens "true believers" from denying the facts....

  • Well darn, anyway, I was hoping they were the REAL THING. I will take your word for it, jscotti, I wasn't there to see it. If you say it was a hoax, I guess it was a hoax. No flack, jack.

O'course you could call me a UFO=Aliens "true believer" but I'm no fool. Like I said I was not there.

Jscotti, do you know if Dr Kitei has made any comments regarding this new hoax?

  • I have not heard Dr. Kitei talk about the latest events, but I'm sure that as a "true believer" that anything said would be biased towards unquestioned belief.

I am a firm believer in the likelihood of other life in the Universe and expect that we may someday find evidence of it. I'd be surprised to find out we were it. But to make the leap that that unexplained light in the sky is a spacecraft piloted by some being from Alpha Centauri or wherever, is just not warrented.

  • The flares leave smoke trails. You can clearly

see that but they don't stay suspended in the

    air,motionless.

  • They stay suspended in the air slowly descending for several minutes and appear almost motionless to the unaided eye. I watch them quite frequently, though usually not for very long. This timelapse is highly compressed, so their motion is sped up considerably compared to what you would see while watching them in the sky. They are also quite distant from Phoenix when deployed by military jets over the Goldwater range.

  • how much is the government paying you to support this crap. aliens are real and they ride around in weather balloons!

  • The next penny I get from the "gubmit" for this will be the first.....

Yes, I'm sure that every unexplained light in the sky has to be caused by aliens from alpha Centauri driving their spaceships around our sky. It can't just be a military flare or Venus or a weather balloon or whatever. That wouldn't be nearly as interesting....

  • How much does it cost to get a camera that can take these kinds of pictures?

    They're beautiful. Good work.

  • All you need is a camera that can do timelapse and a tripod to put it on. Generally you'll find it in higher end prosumer cameras or digital SLRs, though if you are a bit daring, you can make fairly inexpensive Canon Powershot cameras take timelapses with a program called CHDK - Google CHDK & click on the wiki page that comes up to read more. My camera is a Canon 20D which I used in burst mode with 15 or 30 second exposures for my typical timelapse sequences.

  • Wow ! Thanks for the CHDK hint!

  • No problem. I just recently created a stereo camera pair out of 2 Canon A570is cameras and installed CHDK on them. I'm still learning how to make use of them and CHDK, but so far so good! It's amazing how inexpensive it was to build my stereo camera system - only $136 for the cameras at Adorama! And CHDK is free.

  • i reckon you're full of it jscotti

  • so what speed was this time lapse movie taken at?

  • 30 second exposures taken one after the other with only the lag time between frames that my Canon 20D produces between frames. The timelapse runs at about 15 frames/sec so you're seeing about 7.5 minutes per second.

  • Excellent video, You caught somethin else on your video. oh and yes those ones are flares.

  • also these flares have visable smoke. with the sightings there was no smoke trailing behind and the ufo's/flares were in the air much longer

  • The smoke is not easily seen from the distance they are often observed in without the time exposure I used here for the individual frames. To the unaided eye, they look like bright golden-orange lights.

  • Are you a true witness to the Phoenix Lights events on March 13, 1997 or are you like James Magha, a person who comments on shit you have no expereince with? How can you proport to be able to tell real witnesses what THEY saw? There were flares dropped in 3/13/97 but only as a diversion, which people like you who have no idea what they are talking about say are the "phoenix lights,"

  • Yes, I am an actual eyewitness to the flares that were seen and misidentified (really "unidentified") by other eyewitnesses on that night in 1997. I recognized them as flares, having seen military flares over the Goldwater range many times before and since. The description I've seen by many eyewitnesses is very consistent with what I observed and identified that night and then heard about on the news days later. BTW, Magaha knows what military flares look like as he was a military pilot.

  • call me naive but i don't think flares fly ACROSS a city, the video that's infamous for showing the phoenix lights really are flares but that's later in the night after the UFO had already gone over the city

read the former governors(fife symington i believe) personal account as well as some of the witnesses who said the craft flew over their house and disappeared in the distance

  • i see what you are saying and believe you my thing is why do they drop flares over the city why not in the desert?

  • These flares are not over Phoenix, they are quite far off to the southwest of Phoenix and are visible for many miles in all directions (including on Kitt Peak in southern Arizona where I've seen them often).

  • Nice Flare drop video!

  • The V shape is pure coincident....Use your common sense.........

  • The video I've seen of the "Phoenix Lights" is not a v-shape, it is a line of lights very consistent with what I saw on that night in 1997 and what I've seen both before and since when military flares are dropped over the Goldwater range. Any v-shape of lights was an separate event but is clearly confused by many with the string of lights in a row.

  • Yes, flares were dropped at about 10pm, but do flares last two hours? What explanation have you for the SOLID objects from 6:30pm in nevada - all the way to your governors sighting of a large OBJECT at 9:30 - He was a fighter pilot in the vietnam war - do you question his "authority,"? Do you think he would know the difference between a fucking flare and SOMETHING ELSE? You've been suckered my friend, you and the rest of america - keep eating the shit they spoon feed you.

  • Do you also know that it is against FAA regulations to drop flares over a populated area like phoenix? Do you really think that flares explain all the reports from nevada to Tuscon, to Glendale over 3 hours? Use your common sense man - look beyond what Tuscon Sketpics Inc shareholders, want you to think. Ground illumination flares are not dropped at 20,000 feet, they are GROUND ILLUMINATION FLARES, less than 5k feet. Look at your video, what was the maxiimum height of the flare drops?

  • According to THIS video looks like flares...Notice the light go behind the mountain

range...All I am saying just because you see lights in the sky does not mean this is some sort

of alien space ship...Don't you think we would have had better video evidence before now!!I say again use your common sense!!!

  • The flares were dropped high over the Goldwater range and were visible for hundreds of miles in all directions. I was on Kitt Peak, for example. There were two separate "UFO's", the flares and presumably a flight of airplanes (or alien spacecraft if you want to believe that) that were actually over the Phoenix area. The flares were apparently dumped by the pilot at high altitude after his training flight was finished in the area.

  • the phoenix lights happend on a different date nd the lights were over head this video is compleatly irelevant 2 the phoenix lights event

  • I never said that these were the Phoenix lights. This video shows images that go much deeper than what the human eye can see, so they do look a little different than what the eyewitnesses described, but I can tell you with certainty that what I saw during the night that this video was taken is exactly what I saw, though in fewer numbers on the night in March 1997.

  • Thanks for this video.

  • yea lol but the phoenix lights looked nothing like those flares and they had no smoke coming out of them. Also they where in perfect v shape with a trailing light...

  • The smoke is not visible to the unaided eye from these distances - this timelapse was created from a series of 15 second exposures with a DSLR and a telephoto lens. There were also 2 discrete "Phoenix Lights" events - one was a row of military flares like what is visible in this video (only more of them all in a row). The other was probably a formation of airplanes, as best as I can tell from what I've read.

  • well from what ive heard from people who I trust and also ive read this. That the lights were in fact something weird but i dont feel like talking about it. The other half of the time were in fact flares dropped by the military...

  • You can't tell if the planes are heading towards or away from you, making a gentle turn look sharp. There's not enough information. I've seen planes to those types of turns in my images. It's ordinary motion.

  • I think those are probably airplanes. There are other similar appearing streaks going in straight lines as well. I have other timelapse shots that show planes doing those kinds of maneuvers.

  • I'm not sure what you're seeing, but it's probably an airplane (afterall, it's military jets that are dropping the flares). Keep in mind that this video is greatly time-compressed. At 15 frames a second, the frames are 30 second exposures each, so every second of the video is about 7.5 minutes long.

  • This is the way it should be seen, thank you!

  • YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!?!?

  • Thanks - these are military flares from jets training over the Goldwater Range in Arizona, not meteors, so are not entering the atmosphere.

  • looks nothing like the Phoenix lights, why try to make a fool out of the viewer?

  • Of course it doesn't look anything like them, because there are only a couple flares at a time and my images show far more detail than the videos made of the later "UFOs". And don't confuse the 10pm sightings (these types of military flares) with the 8pm or so sightings of airplanes flying over the Phoenix area - two completely different phenomena merged into a single event.

  • How you can compare this video to the real phoenix lights video is beyond me. Grow up.

  • True - this "video" (really a timelapse) is much higher quality than the original video. But this is exactly the exact same phenomenon that caused the later 10pm "UFO" claims from Phoenix which I saw on March 13, 1997 from Kitt Peak and recognized as the military flares they were. Too bad the UFO "true believers" can't accept such a simple and mundane (and confirmed, IMO) explanation for something that they would like to believe are aliens from outer space.

  • Very nice, thanks

  • pretty cool timelaps.
