Humans and dolphins are the only animals who have sex PURELY for pleasure; true, but that doesn't mean all animals don't feel pleasure when having sex. Their priorities are definitely about continuing the lineage or telling the others who's boss. But then again, it's considered to be a common myth that (other) animals don't feel pleasure when having sex. Update your knowledge.

@Dominater521 First off, that humans and dolphins thing is bullshit. We can't ask animals if they find sex pleasurable. We presume because of the frequency (which is not often) of the sex that animals only do it for reproductive purposes. Cats on the other hand, of all types, have been known to kill kittens and cubs so the female will go into heat sooner.
It is well documented. Don't be so obejctional to new information, and maybe you'll learn something.

@CK3890 Of course animals feel pleasure. Its just that they don't do it solely for pleasure. In fact there is evidence to suggest that they don't even know that sex leads to pleasure. Some simple proof is that animals dont have sex more then they need to. They only do it enough to create offspring. Or that they only do it during certain seasons, for complicated reasons. Sex is instinctive. there is more complicated proof. But i'm not gonna sit here and write an essay for you.

How do you know male animals do not have sex for pleasure while female animals only for offspring. How do we know that THEY know that they're producing offspring? How do we know animals even NEED sex? All of these 'facts' that are so easy to 'look up' are not facts but theories. Unproven theories. Theories that shouldn't be just accepted because someone says its so.
