I was so disappointed on my second play through. The first time around, everyone goes on and on about the dangers of using this powerful magic. So, you create your own blood mage and you can't raise the dead, summon demons, siphon significant volumes of health from enemies or even turn into a damn abomination. The abilities were so lame and the only time you use them is at the end of the fight, after you've burned through your mana.

I'd have been better off building a Force Mage.

@User8571 The point of a blood mage is to not even use mana, Its for taking your life as a mana substitute, thats why on any blood mage u make, dump the willpower and put it into constitution, THEN you have a party.

Ugh, blood magic is so grisly. I'll stick to my nice elemental and primal spells. No gory blood for ME, no. I'll just light people on fire and laugh as they run around screaming.

@JessiV2 my mages never use blood they are all nice buff and heal strong with high power primals even though they are mostly called elementals here. blood magic's fine and all but it has it's limits proving that it's nt the strongest like some say

@aaron75fy They have Elemental and Primal in this one. Though Elemental is fire and ice while Primal is stone and lightening. Don't quite understand why they didn't combine them. But I agree, Blood Magic is is in no way the strongest and I tend to avoid it. It's just cool to watch. =)

@JessiV2 i really like bloodmagic all the way up until how confusing it is to figure out where you put your skill points with it, neglecting willpower lowers your magic too much to handle blood magic, and neglecting constitution means you die on your first hemmorhage.

@iSeiranai It's not worth it. The spells suck and it takes about 50% to 70% of your mana to cost. Plus, it can easily kill you if you'll not careful.
