They're quite easy to find, usually the underneath of object like this - theres like 4 or 5 in stormpeaks

Omg, how to get on that edge? Tried with slow fall, but .. S:

You just walk right to the edge really slowly, if your stood close enough, it will let you board your flying mount without falling. Ive seen it done so it is possible :)

Went looking for a way under, took me about 10 minutes to find a place in the geometry that had a fault. Usually they're found in places where bliz have made an error in collision detection - In this case its the underside of an object that they have added the wrong properties to.
