  • that's pretty interesting,Our trucks here in the us look small compared to yours,May I ask the tonnage your truck haul?

Ours are usually limited to 16,00,maybe a little more

  • @swane321 road trains can haul up to 120 tons as standard but may be allowed maore with a special permit

  • nice unit.

  • he has got the wrong sign on the back.

  • @McFearsome2 It's classed as a pocket double not actually as a road train therefore the sign is correct

  • @trucksntrains quite probably.... i am from the east coast so i am not familiar with WA legislation.

  • @trucksntrains - I honestly thought the sign on the back was wrong too. But I will take your word for it trucksntrains :)

  • @trucksntrains thats not a pocket double when you have a tri dolly on the b trailer..

  • @trucksntrains

    A pocket double, alright.

  • can some one explain the a / b or double thing i thought if it had more than one trailer it was a road train but im mistaken .thanks

  • a B double is like half a semi with a turntable on the back and then your normal semi trailer hooks onto that. a road train is a semi with a hitch on the back to hook another semi on.

  • Sounds like this beast is either powered with the CAT C16 or the ISX engine

  • C15 @550hp

  • I dont know if it is the same one , but you see kalari in the early hours of the morning down the albany hwy

  • Yes these run from Munster to Pinjarra & Wagerup daily

  • @trucksntrains MUNSTERS????????????????????

  • its a double roartrain .. simple

  • no it has no ROAD TRAIN sign on the front so it is a pocket road train or long vehicle

  • Its an a double

  • Its not an A or B double its a pocket road train. B doubles don't have a dolly the Dog overlaps the Lead. B doubles are only for light weights because they don't have as many axles.

  • dont these gross 90 tonnes??

  • 萌え☆

  • Thats an unique truck..

Strange combo with the 4 axle tractor.

  • Heaps of those 4 axle tractors here in New Zealand

  • @aid2003 Relatively common in Australia; the extra steering axle allows them to legally carry more weight

  • That was a road train wassnt it?

  • No, it's a sea train.

  • nope b-doulbe its one of kalari's trucks there everywhere

  • have a nother look mate its not a b double

  • well what the fuck is it if its not a b-double

  • it is a road train with a tri axle dolly with a quad steer prime mover

  • got it right there bud. havnt seen many b doubles with a dolly.

  • @truckerboy69 It is actually a pocket double

Under 27.5m long it is a pocket double regardless of the tri or tandem dolly over that it's a road train

  • @trucksntrains fair call ...your right too

  • in wa anything under 30mtrs is just a long vehicle

  • Eaton Auto? The best Kennys ever made!

  • yeh, it sounds like a CAT with an eaton autoshift to me

  • awsome love the tandem front axles

  • oh cool

  • didnt think kalari went that far up i thought they were only perth metro do they do triples aswell?

  • Triples run right up to Darwin

  • kalari is operating in brisbane as well. quad tippers and seen a few walking floors contracting to visy.

  • kalaris have quads aswell and go near on everywhere

  • @rick13241 Kalari is a national company. they are represented in every state and are one of the biggest primary freight hauliers in the country.

  • cool i like the makes of Kenworths
