The rearstand manufacturers say don't do it, but i lube the chain with the bike on and in gear. Can't say I've revved it while its on the stand. If you were to do it i would suggest you make sure your using the spool type rear stand arrangement(with the hooks on the stand and spools on your bikes swing arm)as it is more stable than those flat type ones.
Though amateurish, it is a very nice and useful video, short, 40 secs and precise, to the point. It will help a lot of newbies putting their bikes on their paddock stands "solo"! Thanks for making and sharing this video.
